I was in need of a pair of pliers to handle more delicate bends for wrapping wire. These are exactly what I needed and are very durable. They feel good in my hand, are strong and give me the consistency I need for repeating designs for earrings

I bought four different loop forming jewelry working pliers in search of the ideal one for forming clean wire loops in electronics work. I knew about loop forming pliers from WAY back when I was a kid, I used to make (cheap) jewelry by hand as a hobby back in the days before the old department stores like Caldor's and Woolworth's went out of business. I would go with my mother and look through their crafting sections with her (which had an air of quaint anachronism later dedicated craft stores seemed to have eliminated, or sanitized, leaving the practice feeling hollow). At any rate, jump forward thirty years, and I'm trying to figure out a way for the people doing the manual labor where I work (an old timey industrial electronics manufacturer where most assembly is done by hand) to make better, tighter and more consistent wire loops. Then I recalled my jewelry fabrication hobby, and the special tools for forming complicated and accurate shapes and loops in jewelry wire. This turned out to be the best of the four I tried; the end points are almost needle sharp, the steel it's made of is very hard, and the integrated cutters are ideal for trimming the excess copper wire after loop forming.

I bought these to bend wire for making fishing gear. When I got them the top and bottom did not match up exactly. They still work but wish they were assembled properly.Edit: the company reached out to me and replaced the pair that I had. I love these and would highly recommend this company!!!!! Thank you!
