Needed this to keep the squirrels out of our bird feeder. We used this item to fashion several small rings that rest on top of the feeder. Squirrels would jump from surrounding shrubs or our central unit, land on top of the feeder, reach down and help themselves. Now they maybe jump once only to regret it. (It doesn't bother the birds) So far this has worked. Of course, 25 feet is way more than we needed but I'm sure that over time our original rings will need to be replaced. Item was well packaged with foam rings to keep the barbs from injuring you when you remove the wire from the box.

Sturdy sharp and real value

I got this lightweight barbed wire for a craft project. I made a replica of a 'sawblade axe' from the game Days Gone. It's basically a baseball bat with a circular sawblade bolted onto it and barbed wire wrapped all around it and nailed in. It looks really badass, and this lightweight barbed wire was perfect for only needing a short amount and keeping it easy to work with while looking completely authentic!

Wanted to use to wrap around bottom of bird feeder to keep chipmunk(s) from climbing pole to eat all the birdseed. Do not have much hand strength so ordered a lighter weight barbed wire. Even with gloves on I had trouble winding it around pole as it is still tough to bend. I think it would be an excellent product for "straighter" applications and not for small poles like mine. Problem is more the small size of what I wanted it for and not the quality of the product. Besides, the chipmunk just jumped right over it. What can I say!

Excellent product, received very quickly. Barbs are incredibly sharp, and even though the wire is of reduced gauge, it is very stout and strong. Perfect for my use as a squirrel deterrent to protect my tomato plants (see photo). Thank you for making this barbed wire in the United States! Will definitely buy it again.

I’ve had to double and triple line an area where I have raccoons trying to break into a cat feeder. Why are the barbs so far apart?Seems like nothing stops raccoons. This surely is not. I appreciate the fair price.

I am satisfied with this barbed wire because it effectively prevented raccoon to get into my back yard. Only if the distance between spikes is a bit shorter, it will be better.
