Used those brackets to support my folding desk in my kallax unit. I used a drill extension for most of the screws. It is surprisingly steady and folds to 90 degrees. I will buy again.

I have used these brackets to install a shelf under my window to use as a mini occasional coffee table. They are easy to install, easy to use and hold a lot of weight. I have a good amount of confidence that they are strong and durable.

They’re robust but not so easy to mount because the holes have to be exactly in the center of the metal U where the mechanism is located, if it’s slightly off center the holes and the screws don’t line up, it’s not too difficult though, otherwise it is very good,

Since the bracket is sturdy and mostly invisible as it positions underneath the desk surface it provides a simple easy to install fold-down desktop that is well priced. It is best to locate the brackets on studs in the wall if you want a solid install. You may want to borrow or use your stud finder device. I also used a heavier-duty set of wood screws to securely anchor the brackets onto the wall into the studs. My son uses this fold-down desk surface as a side desk to his main desktop.

I actually used 4 of these to hold a long ladder horizontally at the top of my garage. Though this is not recommended, the supports work great and the folding feature allowed me the more easily fit them along the side of my cramped garage.
