I have several shower heads, extensions, etc. that I can just install by hand with no issues, but this one I could barely even get the threads started by hand. Even with a wrench it took considerable effort, to the point it felt like I might break something. I did finally get it installed and it works fine.I would note that this diverter does not allow mixing the flow between the two outlets. It has three click-stops, one for each outlet and the middle one being full off.Update 8/9/19:Well the end piece that holds the shower wand broke off. The main valve body seems to be well-made but the end pieces are cheap plastic. The piece that broke, I never adjusted the screw holding it on as it already had enough friction to hold it in place but still was easy to move. Once I got it where I wanted it I never moved it again. Just the normal action of lifting and replacing the shower wand was enough to wear this thing out in just a few weeks.See the attached picture for an idea of just how poorly constructed this thing is: that tiny circle in the center was the entire bearing surface for this piece. The most surprising thing about this is that it even managed to last a few weeks,

All metal claim is not true. Only the valve is metal. The attachment holder on the side is plastic and broke after only a few weeks. Snapped right off. Valve itself is good and solid no complaint there

Does not hold shower massage head....weight of massage handle keeps falling downward.....lame product!!!

The sprayer attachment (made of plastic) arrived broken off the (all metal) diverter.

Although this is a replacement part for a part that broke on my original Reege Dog Shower Sprayer, it appears to be a much better, sturdier and a better quality part. Even though Reege did discount the replacement part by 50%, I wish they had just made the original with this part rather than the one that broke. This part has a one year guarantee also. Reege was very cooperative and helpful.
