The basic plastic coated cable is good quality at a reasonable price. However, I was hoping to get 100 ft - when I stretched it out on the driveway and measured it with a 165 ft measuring tape it came up a bit short. I was hoping to be able to get two 33 ft and one 34 ft pieces out of it. Oh well, so much for metered devices.

I keep my bird feeders well off the ground and use a pulley system to reel them back and forth to the deck for refilling the seed. Old single pulleys kept twisting on the narrow wire and getting hung up so I invested in this wider, vinyl coated wire--along with high quality tandem pulleys--and what a smooth system I now have. Have not seen any noticeable stretch in this wire and the coating really lets the pulleys glide effortlessly. Very happy with this product.
