Thought I wouldn't like this switching from a rope clothes line. Thought maybe I wouldn't like the thinness. I needed the length and find this a good value, standard 2.5" clothes pins work great. Glad I won't have to mess w updating my clothesline for years to come. Bit of advise when opening- be thoughtful to unwind without tangling. I basically thru it on the ground to unravel and made a monster birds nest. Fun!

Very nice, durable, easy to clean

This color fades into the back ground in my yard ( I also painted the poles mocha.) My clothesline is no longer an eye-sore. This cable is extremely sturdy and while the lines still need to be tightened occasionally, that may actually be due to my poles loosening in the ground after rain.

I used for a clothesline and ir worked great. Make sure you have wire cutters that will cut this line.

I had been using my previous clothesline for 20 years, and when it was finally time to replace it, I looked in the local stores but couldn’t find the right kind. I like the type with a vinyl exterior and a metal core so I can wipe the clothesline with a damp cloth before using them to remove any dirt, and the metal core provides strength so the lines don’t droop when in use. This clothesline is an A+ on both fronts. Our poles are 25 feet apart. I can have the entire line filled with jeans, and there is very little droop. However, the lines are flexible enough that you can easily attach them to the poles. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend!

May be a little premature to rate this item as it has only been up a few days...but it seems sturdy and strong. hope it doesn't stretch.
