Tenergy 7.2V 2000mAh Replacement Battery for iRobot® Braava® 380 380t 390 390t & Mint® 5200 5200B 5200C

Stock battery was up close to 60 bucks. This was about 17 bucks. I figured I'd give this battery a try. I've used some Tenergy batteries in the past. Had good luck. My Braava 380t was acting a bit funny. Battery was about 2 years old (had a stock battery in it). Got this replacement and 380t is running perfect again. How long will this battery last? I don't know yet. I run my Braava just once, maybe twice a week. If this battery lasts at least a year, I'll be happy and come back to buy another.

This battery lasted 15 months in my Mint with regular biweekly use. It may last a few months more, but the run time is getting too short for me. I used the PowerExtra twice before, which could last over two years, but it had 3000 mAh.

Replaced original battery and this got my little floor cleaner pepping again.

Does the job

I have two model 5200 Mint robots and thus bought two batteries. After about three years, their battery packs started dropping in capacity. I just installed the two new batteries (contained a partial charge) and plugged in the robots to charge. Installation was easy. Use a large screwdriver to open the battery compartment under the robot and replace the battery. This replacement was the same size as the original and thus fit fine. If they do not perform as well as the original batteries, I will amend this review.

I have had some difficulty finding a good quality battery for my Braava robot lately. I recently tried a two pack of brand called Fancy buying and those batteries were not good. I then decided to try Tenergy, which I have tried before. The problem with Tenergy is that their batteries tend to be hit or miss on whether you get a good one or not.These appear to be a generic brand battery (actually what looks like a 6 pack of rechargeable AA’s put together) with a green wrap and a Tenergy label stuck on them.I tried to charge this battery before its first use and it like the FB brand would not charge. I thought I might have to discharge it completely as sometimes the Braava charger is finicky like that with new off brand batteries. The battery ran for one time for 90 minutes, which is a bit less than OEM and the larger 3000 Mah capacity batteries, but this battery would never charge back up, meaning it is one use only. Unfortunately, these batteries are also not good either, since they won’t charge and I won’t recommend. I will try another brand, although I may have to go with OEM batteries, which unfortunately are too expensive and 3 to 4 times the cost of these.1 star

Battery work well for the price. I have used it for a few weeks now and it is able to run the map twice before needing to be charged. It recharges fast and is able to be used multiple times in a day if needed.
