My betta likes this food very much. I hope to keep it on his menu.
I am a novice aquarium owner so I will NOT attempt to comment on anything about this food beyond what I can observe. My fish readily eats this food – which I appreciate. Through the years I have had some fish who were very picky eaters; this betta is not one of those. I do notice there are some foods he will eat more readily than others, though. I do offer four or five different foods, rotating each day – this one served every four or fifth day, that is. He is doing well and the aquarium is healthy; so, I hope to keep this on his menu. I welcome the advice of more experienced ichthyologists.

These are REGULAR size pellets. Good for full-grown bettas.
So... I bought these by mistake, because the ad shows a picture of the "Small Pellets" container, and that's what I thought I was getting.I've got four bettas. One is older (adopted 7 months ago), and he loved these regular sized pellets. The other three are much younger (adopted 2 months ago) and none of them can eat these. They try, but they end up spitting them back out.I later ordered the "small pellets" as well, but they are ridiculously tiny (pictures for comparison). They are useless, unless you're feeding fry or "baby bettas".The bst pellet size out there is Omega One Betta Buffet.

Awesome Betta food!
Great Betta food! My Betta loves it. I tried this food for 30 days as his sole pellet food (their website suggested it).His colors noticeably improved as did his energy! He didn't just eat the food, he snatched it! The only thing is that the pellets are a little big at 1.5mm. I think they offer a 1mm pellets. I'll get that size next time.

bigger size pellets
I like the ingredients in this food, and i feel it's about the healthiest you can get for a betta, when fed in addition to other foods. the only problem i have, is these pellets are BIG

Betta didn’t like it; can’t return
My betta has been getting constipated so after some research I bought this food. Like the other reviews, my betta did not like this food & refused to eat it. FYI: This product is not eligible for returns.

Recommended food by many betta groups
I purchased this food as it was one of a few recommended on more than one betta groups as being a high-quality, food consisting of primarily krill, squid and fish protein. It also does not contain carcinogenic preservatives (BHT, BHA, Ethoxyquin), or dicalcium phosphate and high plant matter (all typically found in many flakes and pellets and causes constipation). My female was starting to get a bit bloated on the lower-quality food I was feeding prior (despite rotating between pellets and live mosquito larva, daphnia and detritus worms). A couple of weeks on this food (in rotation with live) and she's no longer bloated and her appetite and activity have increased.I have a pretty large male and female, and purchased Regular size, which has been fine but I wish I had gotten small. If I let them soak first, when my bettas eat them they end up having crumbs shoot out of their gills (reminds me of laughing while eating Saltines). If I don't soak them, they're getting quite a bit of compact dry food in one bite.

Miniscule
Be aware these are tiny tiny, essentially fry sized. I was hoping I was getting the regular sized betta pellets based on another review. It seems like a crapshoot which size you'll end up getting based on numerous orders I have made. I don't like this tiny of a size because it makes a bigger mess and I worry about my betta gulping in a bunch of air. NLS is otherwise the same premium quality. NLS please make the size labelling more consistent with your suppliers.

Brought our fish back from the brink of death
My son wanted a fish for his 5th birthday, so we got him a Betta and some TopFin pellets from PetSmart. After several days, it was clear that "Ponyo" was not eating his pellets. They just sunk to the bottom. I thought maybe he would prefer flakes, so I bought some of those. Nope. Ponyo continued his hunger strike and started to become lethargic. We tried heating the tank and taking out the filter so the water movement didn't bother him, but still he just sat behind his heater, barely moving all day. I thought for sure he would be belly up in no time and we'd have a sad 5 year old. After doing more research, I found these pellets and the reviews looked great so I figured I'd give them a try. Within a few days of starting these pellets, Ponyo started to perk up. Over time he has become more and more active. When you come up to the tank, he swims right over and tries to attack you. Today, for the first time in 6 weeks, we put the pellets in and he swam right up to the top and gobbled them up, which delighted my son. I'm so glad we found this food- he is like a totally new fish!
