I have a Canon D1620 scanner/printer and it was making a lot of horizontal smudges all across the page but at random vertical positions. It was also echoing images in some parts. Went through several much cheaper replacements with the same problem. I finally broke down (and went broke) and bought this OEM product. Very expensive, but it works!

I buy these ahead so I have one on hand when one is empty. I purchased this several months ago and just now put it in my printer. I have toner all over the inside of my copier now, this seems to be a fraudulent item. When I researched how to identify a authentic canon toner cartridge from a fraud, it said the word Canon should be imprinted in the plastic, this one just has a label.

I do not like that my printer doesn't recognize this cartridge as new. I continue to get a message that my printer needs attention. So far it is printing well, but I'm uneasy that it's not a new cartridge. I called Amazon and have received a partial discount. Not sure whether I would purchase from this seller again. It depends on how long this cartridge lasts.

Bought many times but the last cartridge bought in January installed at the end of February 2024 only got me about 3500 copies instead of 5000 ... expensive to get so little copies :-(
