Beware Customer Sertvice
The sink is a substantial one. It appears to be very strong and well finished. Unfortunately, my sink came with a bend all the way across the top lip. I contacted customer service and after sending pictures and several emails, all they could suggest was to "put a cloth on the ground and move the sink on it. Try to use a hammer knock it. And then install it on the counter top". If that doesn't work, they say to order a new one. Of course they want to sell another - the price has gone up about $30 in the past couple weeks. So I am left with only bad choices. If the sink was not damaged, this would have been a 5-star review. It appears to be quality. But how many bent ones do they send out with the good ones? And then ask you to use a hammer to knock it?Update - 3 weeks later.. I followed the seller's instructions to straighten out the bend and I easily made the sink perfect. I had doubted it could be done, but the seller was correct. I am quite happy with the sink.

A very nice sink. Improves the usability as well as the beauty of the kitchen.
This sink was added as part of a DIY kitchen remodel. The old sink was a double basin that was OK, but we wanted a larger usable volume. This fits the bill perfectly. Water does not splash out when washing pots and pans. There is ample room for hand washing anything and everything. Specifically, we hand wash large pots and pans, and this sink has all the room we need to wash our biggest and baddest.I do a lot of barbecue and smoking. I like to clean and prepare my meats in the sink, as that simplifies containment and clean up. For example: Prepping turkey or chicken. I really don’t want poultry drippings anywhere in my kitchen… but when I do the prep in the sink; everything is contained and easy to clean. I also clean very large pork shoulders, and again this sink is perfect. The sink has plenty of room for a large HDPE cutting board in the bottom (so avoid slicing directly on the sink itself, which seems like a poor choice). The extra depth of the sink does make it less useful for cleaning vegetables in the sink itself, but I normally do that on the counter top anyway. That said, my wife carved a watermelon in the sink the other day, and it worked out beautifully… no watermelon juice running everywhere, the melon itself was big enough to be easily worked in the sink, and plenty of room to move the rinds to the side while working. The sink is installed as a drop in. I did not use the supplied fastening clips, but instead used silicone to fasten the sink down AND provide a waterproof seal around the edge. This application allowed me to really fine tune the leveling of the sink, and make sure nothing was going to leak back in around the sink. I used composite (i.e. cheap) countertops, and they do NOT like getting their substrates wet. The pro about this is that the sink is made of such a think piece of stainless, and there is a good ½” available around the outside edge, that it is easy to make it completely waterproof. This sink is not going to deform from being full of water. This is a nice piece of steel, and is going to stay rigid for its lifetime.Cons:The cutout template that was supplied with this sink was NOT correct for the sink I received. The sheet did say to check to make sure it was correct. I checked. It was not. Instead, I put down painters tape on the countertop, positioned the sink upside down on the countertop, and marked the outline of the sink. The funky mounting clip holders are approximately ½” from the outside of the sink (those clips are the reason the supplied cutout template would not work. The template would be fine for an under mount). I marked a line ½” inside the sink outline. Then I bent the mounting clips a bit back so they were vertical. I used a jig saw with a VERY good blade to cut the hole, and it worked very well. Do be sure to support the cutout so it does not try to fall and break off after cutting a significant porting of the hole. When I put the sink in the hole, it had about 1/16” inch play side to side, and none front and back. The bottom of the sink is sloped to the drain, but is not a very steep slope. Make very sure your countertop is level, and your sink is mounted level with the countertop. If it is not level, you are going to get less than satisfactory results, as water will pool on the low side. This is a con, just because you need to be extra careful to get the countertop and the sink very level. I don’t consider this a problem with the sink itself, and the sink works nicely when level. Just do be fastidious about leveling. The installation instructions were not good, specifically because there were no installation instructions (other than the template that told you not to trust the template, and measure it yourself).Summary:I would buy another sink like this in a heartbeat. It is stainless, and sometimes stainless is a pain to keep looking nice, but it is NOT going to fail. Most commercial kitchens have stainless for a reason, and they have products that keep their equipment looking nice and operational. I will be using those products to keep my sink in top shape. The thickness of the sink is going to make it stay in place and be rigid, not warp and leak, and is not going to rust. The depth of the sink is wonderful, and the primary reason I like it so much. Installation instructions are non-existent, but even as a DIY guy, I could figure out how to make it work just fine. If you want to make the clips work, American Standard has the exact same clips. I don’t want to post a link to another product, but the info is available if you look a bit.

installation clips didn't work and company did not respond
The sink itself is nice, thick metal, seems to be a good value. However, when I tried to install this 28" sink in my 30" sink base, the installation clips (which are totally custom and nonstandard) did not fit. On 3 sides the sink was was too close to the edge of the sink base and clips could not fit down tight. On the back edge the clips had the opposite problem, they were too far away from the edge and therefore would not clamp down tightly as the "counter balance" part of the clamp had nothing to push against. The template that the company provided worked fine for the sink installation but they sent me the wrong diagram of the clips. I could figure out how they worked easily enough but when I contacted to the company to explain the issue I was having with them and see if they could provide me with different (skinnier/longer) clips I did not get a response.

A VERY HIGH QUALITY SINK
We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the box and took out our beautiful new laundry room sink. It is a heavy 16-gauge stainless steel that would also make a great kitchen sink. It even comes in a re-usable cloth bag. We were not able to find another sink that compares at under $200. Amazing quality and price!

Installation
Well made and as described, however, installation was difficult based on type of mounting clips. Item was purchased based on recommended cabinet size, but was a very tight and frustrating install. Once installed, thrilled with size quality of unit. Definitely requires a sink grate or mat as bottom scratches easily - sides do not

Scratches easily
The sink is beautiful but scratches easily. The water doesn’t drain as well as an average kitchen sink. If I could have found a double stainless sink in the smaller size I needed I would have chosen it instead.

LOVE this sink!
This feels like a commercial sink, which is perfect! Make sure it's level so it drains correctly. Cleans easily, looks fantastic and makes clean up so much easier.
