I can feel the effects of this immediately when I take it. Like I get a quick rush of feel good hormones and/or energy. I try to remember to take it once a day. I notice I'm in a worse mood when I don't. I got it for inflammation (I have an autoimmune disease). Who knows if it's working for inflammation. I'm doing a lot of things - clean eating, no salt, no alcohol, tumeric, fish oil, etc. Anyhow, I'll continue to take this because maybe it helps with inflammation, and I know for sure it makes me feel good. By the way, don't put this in your mouth without diluting it. I squeeze a dropperful into a shot class or small glass with a splash of water and take it like a shot. It's not terrible this way. Kind of like diluted whiskey. I don't mind it at all.

This irritates my stomach so I can't take internally but I have found an alternative use! This tincture is wonderful for treating any kind of skin infection! Sometimes I get cystic acne that wants to hang around forever, but when I put a few dabs of this on the site it shortens the lifetime of infection quite a bit. That's how it works for me anyway. It is very dark green but it seems to rub in with very little color apparent. Its great on bug bites too! Good potent stuff and I'm glad I found it!

One of my go-to stress reliever! This day in age more and more people use harmful substances to quell or cope with stress. I wish more people knew about these amazing Ayurvedic herbs. I rarely drink and do not use any other pharmaceuticals or substances to calm down, so these herbs have been a blessing. The best part? You cannot truly "overdo" it with Ayurvedic herbs. They're adaptogenic, which means they build up in your body and work better and better the longer you use them. I highly recommend! (I also use the Ashwaganda).

I'm one of those people who read all the wonderful reviews of that "magic bullet" product that makes a noticeable difference in "fill in the blank". You name it, most supplements that I take do nothing noticeable for me. Not so with this Holy Basil. After a 4 point saliva cortisol test, I learned that my last 2 saliva samples of the day show high cortisol. This explains my bouts of insomnia and jittery feelings I tend to get in the evenings. Often, I'll wake during the night for no apparent reason with a pounding heart and the feeling that I'm going to jump out of my skin. I also startle extremely easily during the day time, more so than I did when I was younger. The increased startle response is not unusual in folks with high cortisol. This holy basil has helped me tremendously, and it didn't take any time to build up in my use of it. Within 20-30 minutes of taking 2 droppers full, I notice that jittery feeling just melts away. I take it as needed, based on how I'm feeling. I don't tend to get a lot of emotional anxiety, just a physiological anxiety like I'm going to pop sometimes. When I start feeling this way, mainly in the late afternoons and evenings, I take the holy basil and feel 100% improved within half an hour. The higher cortisol response tends to worsen during the week before my periods. I know that Holy Basil is supposed to be great for PMS, too, so this is truly a 2 for 1. This is my new favorite supplement

A friend told me about the many benefits of holy basil so I thought I would try it. I put it in my tea at night. I look forward to noticing if it makes any difference after a month of use.

good product , good company . more expensive then some , but excellent product. so worth it. tastes nasty , is but isnt supposed to taste good.

I am so happy to have found a 4oz bottle for an amazing price. I could only find 1oz bottles locally. I have only had this brand . Made a huge difference in my mood and overall energy level. Hot flashes have decreased significantly since taking it. I'm 44 so I'll take the help I can get.
