Appears to be quality product at a reasonable price. I liked the fit and finish and the bulk of the material.

A pair of shorts, especially if you live in a hot southern climate, is one of life's necessities. However, they can easily be fabric bearers of burden, if they fail to meet your needs. You won't need to worry if you get a pair of Goodthread's shorts. They take care of and stand up to tough-wearing as well. I bought two pair, one black and one brown, with the thought that if they could not keep up - I would return them. Well, they have managed to keep up and are now my favorite pairs in the 8 or so shorts that I own. They keep your things from falling out your pocket - a common complaint I have with many shorts, and look good whether they're pressed and starched or a bit wrinkly when they are fresh from the dryer or air-dried on the line. I have the 11" length. Sometimes they can look schlubby - but these don't. The waist came true to size, and they're 98 % cotton, 2% elastane. So, they give a little as you wear them and bend. This last fact is how more things in life, just like these shorts, should be.

These are a good basic short. They fit true to size and look nice. Unfortunately, they wrinkle easily and are a fairly thin material, so keep that in mind if you were looking to get them for yourself.

I like these shorts very much. They fit as expected (34W). Received my second pair today and unfortunately they had splatter stains on the front of them. Be sure to inspect your merchandise closely before laundering. I sent the back and have a replacement on order at no cost to me. Amazon return process couldn’t be any easier for me. Just drop them off at the local UPS Store and it’s done! Love it!

I've had them for a couple of months and only wore them 2 or 3 times. They fit just right....for 5 minutes then the waist stretches so much I have to hold them up. I like wearing my shorts without a belt, Makes them easier to get in and out of and more comfortable to wear. I tried them with a belt but they still stretch and I have to tighten it ever tighter..Otherwise they're great. Lightweight and cool to wear. Dont leave home without a belt.

Liked the fit. The little bit of stretch in the waistband was welcomed. Especially liked the longer length as I don't look good in short men's shorts, ie skinny thighs.Only thing I would have liked to have seen would have been a small side pocket for a cell phone like Docker's shorts have. I will be buying more of these in the future.

The fit was good, however the color came in a just a slight shade redder than what is posted. The fit was good, but the fabric is thin and wrinkles easily (on the stiffer side). Otherwise, decent value.

As many reviewers have noted, the inseam on these shorts is not 11 inches. Closer to 10. For some people, this won't matter, but for others, it will be the difference between a pair of shorts that feels too short and a pair of shorts that feels like the correct length. I decided to risk it anyway and planned to keep them.Then I experienced what the OTHER bad reviewers said about the fabric quality. These shorts are made from a lightweight, brushed cotton that feels smooth to the touch, but wrinkles heavily (and in very unusual places.) The creases I got formed all over the bottom seams and would require ironing every time to get rid of them. Not only that, but in time the fabric dye will eventually wear out unevenly resulting in a very cheap looking pair of shorts. I decided NOT to keep these and instead keep searching.It's unfortunate, but if Amazon didn't lie about the inseam length and use such shoddy material, these would be great shorts. I guess I know why they were so cheap now.
