This was another amazon hit. This is by far the best leash I've ever used. The bungee cord is awesome if your dog pulls. It's well made and the clasp is secure. Highly recommend

This leash works very well and had been perfect for our 100lbs of blonde joy for the better part of a year. The elasticity never waned and it was perfect for our dog. Today, it was very cold and the clip could not stand a tap against the door to shake off the snow. The second half of the clip shattered. Boo-urns...Upon seeing the reviews, this seems like a common issue for many of you, but I didn't not have a problem until our walk on this -2° Minnesota morning. Gusto had a string pull and this held up to him from March until December. Furthermore, this did not happen DURING or walk, so that's a bit of a Christmas miracle.We'll probably get another one, just sayin'.

So happy we switched to these leashes. We have two German Shepherds, so any leash we use has to be strong. Our younger dog sometimes lurches, and the buikt-in bungee really helps reduce the tug she would feel. The second handle closer to the clip is perfect for navigating in crowds. My wife and I have been using these for months and still find ourselves saying how much we live the leashes and how happy we are we bought them.If it helps to know, we almost exclusively use harnesses, not neck collars.

I'm really happy with this purchase. When we got our 60lb. German Shepherd/Hound mix rescue dog, we didn't quite realize just how strong she would be. This leash has made working with her on her habit of pulling during walks way more manageable, and she's responded beautifully. The handles aren't the most comfortable things ever, but they're far from the worst thing I've held. The bungee feels like it's high quality and durable, the clip is strong and easy to use, and the length is adjustable so that's another plus. I'd recommend this leash for sure.

I love the handle twards collar on leash for when I walk my over excited lab into motels/hotels easy way to hold him back cause he forgets his manners at times. and the adjustable length is awesome! ive had groomers and vets and just random people ask about the leash and always tell them elite spanker. cant go wrong. hands down best leash to get for a dog. or at least 65lbs. the swivel is great also so leash doesn't get twisted

Only had this product for a few weeks and gone on a handful of outings with it, but the leash seems very sturdy. Doesn't even break a sweat holding back my 50 pound dog. Only draw back for me is the lower handle is to close to the clasp, if I need to use it either I end up hunched over, or my dog's front paws lift just off the ground. Good overall length, and this is adjustable.

Best leash I’ve found so far. Very durable. The extra hand-hold is a nice feature. You’ll never go back to a regular leash after having one of these. Your dog will appreciate the elastic cord inside... and so will you!

The dog didn't even really pull on the leash, just pushed towards some people and the clip just popped right apart. This was done by my smaller dog (70 lb. german shepherd/Australian cattle dog mix). Luckily the people whom he ran up to were very cool about it and even offered me a leash to help get him home. I was sceptical when I saw the clip these leashes us because I have seen other people have problems with them giving way. I love the leashes themselves. They have a great feel, but I wouldn't trust the clip. I have two dogs, I bought a leash for both. What I ended up doing was just taking a bolt cutter and cutting the clips off and then went to Ace Hardware, bought a carabiner and clip and put those through the end of the leash. Now it is reliable and good to go.

I imagine, that you are interested in the carabiner style attachment if you are looking here. Just like me and it's one of the reasons you are willing to spend a silly amount of money on a leash. Let me stop you here, save the money as it's not what you get. What I got was a bit of a novelty twin opening, probably works fine if you donb't have a husky like mine that will escape from novelty nonsense like this. So two problems:1. not what I (over) paid for.2. a bit rubbish really.Hope this helped

Negative: Only had this for a day and already the extension clasps are slipping so the lead is at full length all the time. The lead is also quite heavy so maybe not so suitable for smaller dogs. Given the price I would have expected better clasps.Positive: I like the handle at the end of the lead for controlling your dog at traffic lights etc. Certainly seems to have helped with pulling as well.

Terrible leader. Bought two, both broke after a month or so of use! I thought the first breaking must have been a flook but the same happened with the second. I have a small goldendoodle (15kg) and the leader broke as she pulled slightly looking at some birds. Luckily we weren’t near a road, but the leader completely released her. Would not recommend.

Lead material and design is very good. CLAW clip will break after 3 to 4 months. I have now attached a carabiner to the handle nearest the dog end with no more issues.
