Pro Series 49901 Complete Weight Distribution Kit

My dad needed a replacement for his camper and used it for the first time last weekend. He said it worked 1000% than his older set. He inherited the previous set when he bought the camper and is well over 10+ yrs old. One little part had broken and it was cheaper to replacement it all as a whole than that just one little part. He said he is soo glad he replaced it all because it works “like a dream” as he says.

Great price for the product. Although this 550lb rating is within limits for my setup, I wish I would have purchased the 750 lb rated one. Other than that there's a little thin metal locking plate/pin that secures/releases the bars from the hitch, one of them bent the first use and now I have to mess with it to work properly. Wish they would've designed that better.

Pulled newly purchased camper home without weight distribution hitch and could see a big improvement in handling and ride after the hitch was installed. The hitch is heavy (about 70 lbs) and requires big wrenches and high torque on bolts. Followed directions and had no problem but I can see where someone who is not used to working with something like this may need a handy neighbor or friend to help. Hitch came with 2 5/16" ball and had to change to 2" ball. The hole in the hitch for the ball was 1 1/4 " so had to get a ball with 1 1/4 diameter shank. Coupling and uncoupling isn't as quick as a 5th wheel but it isn't difficult and doesn't take much more time now that I have it figured out. ( watched YouTube videos). 1993 Dodge D150 and 2600 lb camper.

This is my first WDH and I’m glad I went with this purchase. My trailer is a Springdale 189FLWE, and my truck is a 2016 F150 3.5 ecoboost. So the trailer isn’t that heavy and my truck is plenty powerful enough, however, I just couldn’t imagine towing my trailer regardless of the weight to all my Alaskan campsites with only one point of contact. This is easy to install, shipped fast. Great so far with about 1500 miles of use or so.

To be sure that you have it then correct, this should be installed by a professional. Although there are directions for self installation I believe it’s best for someone else who’s been doing this for years to do it so it’s done right. It’s a pricey piece… But often camping world and other camper service places charge quite a bit more

Great Item, Great Price. This was almost $100.00 cheaper than the camper dealer was selling it for. The guy at the dealer that installed and set it up for me told me that I got a good deal. I pulled the camper about 100 miles home on a windy day and had no sway.It arrived on time and as described. I have not needed to contact customer service. I would recommend this to a friend.

This product rusted in 2.5 years, washers rusted and fell off. Working on dissembling it and the the last bolt it frozen. I will fix it, but never again

This hitch was a wonderful gift to my husband ans myself for Christmas. We were going down the expressway ans our camping trailer almost flipped over. We decided that this hitch would be a wonder gift for each other. With this connected to the truck/trailer 24', it drives down the road and doesn't pull or sway. We would recommend this to anyone
