Easy to clean, looks nice and the temperature control is smooth and easy to use. The only con I can think of is that it shuts off when it gets to what it feels is the right temp. So fluctuates temp quite a lot. If you want it to have a consistent temp, you have to fiddle with it somewhat.But for the price, still a nice addition.

This is a cute little coil burner. Less then 20.00 and works like a charm. It gets hot so fast. Will say tho when we took it out of the box and plugged it in, my son accidentally touched it and it burned him. It came out of the box with the nob turned on, check it before plugging in. I couldn't get over just how fast it got hot! It cleans fairly well. The coils lift up so your able to clean the surface. Definitely recommended!

I picked this up for my office to cook food so I could avoid the Covid filled break room. It works great and gets very hot quickly. One thing that was odd on my stove was instead of temperature control (LOW/MED/HIGH) as noted in the instruction booklet, It only had on and off. No issue for me since I'm not doing delicate temperature control.

it's worth the money , works good so far , first day of using it , not bad at all . it helped cooked my food beautifully . it looks like a reliable machine to me so far . i hope that this quality always reaches the level of the most luxurious keep up the good job guys . thank you .

I ordered this in January. I received it in February. I didn’t get to use it until May. I’m not asking for a refund or a replacement. I just wanted to caution potential buyers. There is no way to control the temperature or the heat on this item. It simply has “on” and “off” - no temperature gauge.I use stainless steel cookware. It has caused my pots to warp and to even fly off the “stove” (eye? Burner?), costing me what was in the cookware. Thankfully, no one was hurt even with projectile contents.Please be advised: do NOT leave this unattended (obviously), and remain a good 10-15 feet away unless you have to be right on it because you will be injured.I have only used this hot plate about 5 times. It’s simply too hot and too unregulated. You can see in the photo that it gets hot enough to burn the eye itself.

It works very well for some craft projects -BUT- you should know that it releases a strong burning plastic smell and a fumes, the first time I lit it up. (Obviously, I removed the plastic wrapping it comes with in the box). Had I known that would happen, I wouldn't have fired it up on my bedroom desk.... the room stunk for like an hour maybe. Might not happen for you, but try turning it on a higher temperature (to burn it off faster), somewhere that’s well ventilated, -away from your bedroom and from food! Plastic can be toxic, so obviously a plastic fume is not a good thing. Other than that, it works great! Just thought some people should know this, so I gave it 3 stars so that more people would read this, as this is something they should be made aware of when they get it. Other than that, it should be 4-5 stars! Works well for me!

I've used this hot plate twice so far and both times, I've been impressed. It gets to the temperatures set pretty fast.It is small enough that I was able to put it into my 25" luggage without taking up much space or putting on much weight. I kept it in the box to keep it from getting banged up and making it easy to transport.I used it to warm up my food in my hotel room while using a camp pot with it. It only took five minutes to warm up a bunch of hot wing leftovers I had from the previous day. After finishing, it was easy to turn off the hot plate and unplug it. There was no burning metal or plastic smell that sometimes gets reported with these types of hot plates.I am going to use the hot plate a few more times during this trip so I will update if things change.

I have tried many coal heaters and I see a lot of companies that offer the same product just with a different name...I got the Techwood after the others went bad, and fell in love with how fast this heats up. One of the best coal heaters I have ever used, and definitely worth buying! I got it with the Warranty just in case because I will continue to use this one going forward.

Did not like the temperature control, could not see where med and low were on the dial. Other then control it worked well for what I was doing. Not sure if I would buy again.
