XL was too big, medium was the winner. Beautiful quality.
First of all, beautiful soft lightweight rayon fabric. I hate it when you receive polyester by surprise so I was pleased by the quality of this fabric. In fact, the overall quality was great. It is a true wrap dress. Now I'm going to speak to the fit. I am 5'2", about 150 lbs, 34DDD. 41" bust 32" waist. I ordered the XL. For me, the rest of the dress besides the bust (like the shoulders, waist) is too baggy. I wish I'd ordered a large, but I'm going to keep this size and try to shrink it by washing. I tried tying it two different ways-- 1st snug around the waist, which pulled the armholes towards the front across my bust, exposing a lot of bra from certain angles. 2nd I tried tying it the way it's designed to lay across the bust, which showed way too much cleavage for me (wore a camisole for the photos), and the waist was hanging loose, but then the sleeves were falling correctly. Later when I ordered the Medium, there was no more fit issue. It is not sheer, and there's no stretch. I love wearing this. Edited to add: I ordered another pattern in the Medium size and it fit perfectly! Consider that according to the size chart I should be an XL. But the Medium fits perfectly. Anyway, I'm very pleased with my second dress and will order more.

Just No
This dress looks nothing like the photos. First, it's too big. It has a lot of fabric. and I mean, a lot The first thing I noticed was the giant ruffle at the bottom of the dress, which is not nearly as noticeable in the photos. It's huge, and it doesn't lay flat so you really notice it. The colors on the fabric are much more defined, so instead of looking like a cool, relaxing nice summer floral dress, this looks like a Prairie Dress. I honestly think this dress came from the costume department of a Hollywood western movie. It's terrible. It looks awful on, too, making me look about 4 sizes bigger. Ugh!! The fabric is wrinkled, doesn't flow, and just looks bad. I have no idea how this dress received any good ratings. I returned this immediately for a refund.

It's very pretty and a definite keeper!
It fits me in the shoulders but is big in the waist and too long for me. I am 5'1'', 125 lbs. I wrap the belt around my back and back around to get a tighter fit in the waist so it looks nice. I will have to hem it up probably 4 inches. It looks really lovely on, but I will have to wear it as a cover-up or lounge dress and not as a day out dress. I am still very happy with it as it is so lovely and feels so good. The colors are nice.

Used to be great
Ok, I bought this dress in summer 2019 and it was my absolute favorite dress, super flattering and comfortable. I accidentally ended up putting it through the dryer though and it shrank. SO I loved it so much that I decided to buy it again this year (2020) and while I still love the dress it has definitely changed. The material is a lot thinner and cheaper and the fit is just a little different. I used to wear a cami under my old one as it was a little too "booby" for me but the length was 100% perfect (I'm 5'6"). The new on closes a lot more across my chest and no longer requires an undershirt which is nice but it's also quite a bit shorter which I don't love.I'm not mad overall but I wish I could get my old dress back, probably won't buy again if the one I have now get's ruined.

Runs smaller than you expect for this brand
I normally wear an XL in this brand, and this XL barely covers my chest and the wrap part barely came around to the hole that it is supposed to go through. Technically it fits, but not as loose and comfortably as I was expecting. I definitely can’t wear a bra with it and it would hang open too wide. Might work for a swim cover up. Otherwise it’s good quality and beautiful, but the chest area is just not comfortable.

Inaccurate model photos, buy a different brand
First things first: I am not delusional enough to think that this dress would fit me exactly as shown on the model that they use as the main image for this dress. I am a bigger girl, it will fit differently, this I know. The photos for this listing that are accurate are the one shown on the clear mannequin and the side by side showing front and back. The model images are showing a dress that is not sewn the same way.Last year I purchased this same flowy, floral, boho wrap dress that is inescapable on Amazon in a different color from a different brand (Zesica). That version was beautiful, better quality than I expected and was fairly flattering on me.I purchased this navy version from R. Vivimos because it was a good $10 less expensive than the orange I already owned (and $10 is $10, am I right?) And besides...how different could they be? Turns out: different.Because the R. Vivimos is missing the sort of "band" separating the upper from lower halves of this dress, the waist is much more empire, sitting just beneath the bust (38DD for the record) rather than at the natural waist. I have a tummy, but that is not my "problem area" per se, as I am proportionally larger in the butt and thighs than my top half. However, the combination of that empire waist with a gathered seam (vs. flat with added 'band') resulted in me going from have a tummy to looking like I had no vacancy in my womb, so to speak. Plus the sleeves were a couple inches shorter than the other brand, making me look that much more like a round dumpling. The R. Vivimos skirt length was a few inches shorter as well, probably ankle length on my 5'4" height. If you are taller and want a maxi dress that goes to the floor, this will be too short for you.If you are slender and could use some help amping up your lower half, this would be more flattering on you.Another odd little quirk was that because this dress is missing that band at the waist, the hole that is required in the side seam to make this a wrap dress was rather difficult to find! Maybe it's just me but I legit thought they forgot to sew it with that hole at first. I didn't find it until I went to take photos for this review a few days later.
