Multiple colors/patterns and controllable by Alexa!
This strip light is super cool, I got it because I am a sucker for anything I can connect to my Alexa. I can control it from my phone if I'm at home or out, with my voice from home I can turn it on off switch the colors or switch the pattern. For a strip light it does create a good about of light. I just got this thing for the fun of it but I think it's actually going to have purpose because it works so well.

Great lights that pair with Echo
These lights work great and were easy to pair with Echo. For the price I don't think you can find anything better. So far we have purchased 2 sets. The first was for my daughter and she uses it around her computer. The second set we installed behind our 65 inch HDTV. There was actually about 14 extra inches that we cut off to properly fit behind the TV.It works great with Echo and is very convenient to have voice control to change the color or pattern of the lights. The only negative was the glue isn't great for plastic. The lights adhered great against the wall for my daughter but we had to use super glue to get them to stay on the plastic of the TV, and yes it was very clean. These were about the lowest price lights I could find that paired with Alexa.I highly recommend these lights for the low cost and the features they have.

Poor instructions when you need it the most.
When I received the LED kit, it came with instructions for the connection to phone/tablet. Some instruction steps were obsolete. There where no instructions for power controller that has 1 button.App recommendations is Smart Life by Tuya inc. This app requires an account if you don't already have one. I don't use a hub such as Alexa so I can't provide any tips.To connect with Smart Life App as of 4-2-2019:1- Select add symbol on top right corner "(+)"2- Select the "Lighting" tab3- Choose "Lighting". Don't select bluetooth or ZigBee option4- Press and hold LED controller button for 5 seconds. Assuming that the LED strip is already connected, all the light should be flashing about 2x per second.5- Select your WI-FI network. Enter your password if required.6- It will scan and detects.Once completed, you will see a "RBG" screen that allows control of different color, brightness %, cool %, and themes. I'm not sure but theme seems to control multi-color effects.I've made some observation notes on using the single button on the controller. I'm a little confused why some clicks are stepped and patterned this way.Click 1 - Red, Green, Blue (color transition)Click 2 - GreenClick 3 - Light BlueClick 4 - YellowClick 5 - BlueClick 6 - Green (Dimming)Click 7 - Red (10 sec), Green (2 sec), Blue (2 sec)Click 8 - Red (Blink every 2 sec)Click 9 - Red, Green, Blue (color transition)Click 10 - OFFPress and hold 5 seconds - Pairing Mode

Really great product!! **(READ FULL REVIEW!!)**
Wow! These light strips are pretty dang amazing!! They're super cheap and have a really good brightness!!The picture with white background is before I added the strips to the tv stand furniture and applied it only to the tv.The other photos of the tv stand furniture consists of one strip plus the extra left over kitchen strip lights I had left. I just had to connect them with connectors (bought separately) which involved a little bit of work, but nothing too hard! But this does prove that one order of these strips can connect to more led strips if you have some leftover from another pack!! The whole TV stand is powered by the one powersuplly!Cons:- The adhesive is just absolute garbage. I gave it two stars only for the fact that it gives enough time to set the strips how you want it and apply a strong adhesive before falling off...lol it's really bad! USE SCOTCH DOUBLE SIDED MOUNTING TAPE!!! I bought the roll kind and cut small triangles and applied them ONLY to the start, middle, and ends of each strip piece. No need to add more than that. The dbl sided tape does great!- This isn't too bad, but I cant figure out how to make my own scenes in the app. Not sure if that is an option, but i wish it were!

Wifi connectivity ruins the experience
This light strip was my first experience with multicolor LED's. I mounted them around the base of my bed, and even though the surface is smooth and clean, the lights fell down within 24 hours. I put them back up with some clear hockey tape which is holding well, but the lights will not connect to my Google assistant at all, even when following the instructions to the letter. On top of that, the app-based controls are inconsistent at best. The lights are regularly disconnecting from my wifi signal, even though every other device in the room has a consistent and stable connection. The utility and ambiance the lights create is enjoyable but I will look to replace these with some lights of higher quality and stronger reviews.

Works great for a short period of time. Then useless.
Pros: Great packaging, can get very bright, app runs flawlessly.Cons: poor adhesion (had to buy my own double sided tape to make it stick), poor build quality. In 1 month I’ve had 2 of these fail for no reason. I exchanged one and had to remove the whole strip to return it and then buy more double sided tape to stick the new one on. Now the replacement is flashing red twice and then pink. I’ve left it unplugged, I’ve tried resetting it. Nothing has worked. So I’ve got a wasted lwd strip basically.

Great LED lights with WiFi
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I bought a set and then bought two more! We have them on the back of two TVs to create a glow and it’s AWESOME! They are WiFi, have and app and can be controlled by Alexa. These are a 10/10!I did learn that they run on a 2.5 ghz WiFi so if you have a router that has both 5 and 2.5 under the same WiFi name you will have to separate them. I am not a tech geek and was able to do this just fine by googling it.If you are looking for WiFi LED strips, look no more, buy these!
