I am not going to run a blade over my hand to test them. They are very comfortable, soft, provide a good grip on smooth surfaces, and fit well. All the gloves I purchase are X-large and these fit as well as any other work glove I wear. First time I put them on I was changing both a table saw and a circular saw blades.
