Seems Comparable to the Ellis Blade..
I bought this to try on my Ellis 1600 bandsaw. The price & prime 2 day free shipping was an advantage. So far so good as a direct comparison to the Ellis blade that came with my new saw. In fact I would be inclined to believe that Ellis uses Simonds A8 blade stock. The Ellis saws are known to use the dry cutting system with minimum heat being transferred to the blade. The course tooth blades are best for dry cutting IMO, I usually order 3 to 4 TPI blades for dry cutting and I'm really impressed with the Ellis saw dry cutting ability. My other bandsaw is a wet type and works best with a finer tooth blade.If anybody has any info on what brand blade stock Ellis actually uses please leave a comment here.. Thanks..

Didn't work for me.
First off I bought these in a pinch and they sent two different size blades. The one I was able to use dulled out rather quick and the blade deflection was off the charts. I will be sticking to Lennox blades.
