Nice Little Betta Tank!
This is a great small tank! Glass and solid except for the plastic lid. The light works well and we haven’t minded plugging and unplugging it to turn it on and off, as there is no switch. The light is plenty bright. I think this tank is a good size for a betta. Easy to set up and clean. It’s actually very pretty and nice to look at. No leaks or issues! A good value.

Be mindful of what you put inside.
I am using this tank to grow out aquarium grass and use as a quarantine tank. THIS SHOULD NOT HOLD AN ADULT BETTA. We see cruelty in pet stores, where animals are in small cages with many of their kind and betta are in tiny, cute cups, but that doesn't mean they are meant to live their whole lives like that. They put them in small cups because they sell quick, like a grab and go, and most of the animals are babies or also sell quick. People have a misunderstanding that this is the norm for these animals. Betta, like many of their cousin breeds, live in shallow ponds and can breathe from the surface with their labyrinth organ. Please note, they prefer a wide, shallow (8-12 inch depth) tank and are known to jump at least a few inches so they should have a lid or a few extra inches of space between the surface and the rim. A single betta male could live in a 5-10 gallon fairly comfortably with a filter (without too much water movement, maybe sponge filter) and places to hide (think plants, etc.), but this tank is NOT A 'BETTA' tank. If you would like something to live in this tank, long term, I might suggest up to 5 shrimp or maybe a couple pom pom crabs, but not both at once. If you are heavily planted and can create a new lid/screen over the current one... you might get away with a couple tetra but I hate to suggest it because of the water requirements their waste would leave. To have more than some plants and a few shrimp is NOT A BEGINNER SUGGESTED tank setup. Smaller does not mean easier.Having said that, this tank is great for growing out hairgrass, keeping shrimp (if you can find a heater small enough or have it in a warm room), and quarantining new fish to make sure you aren't introducing tetra with parasites or fin rot to your existing tank population. It looks nice and doesn't take up much space in, say, a guest bathroom or office. Be aware that it loses a lot of water if you do run a heater in this tank because it is open. I solved this by cleaning a sour cream lid and placing it over the hole on top lol (it still has cord and oxygen exchange room in the back slit, I wish it had another closed lid option or hole cover).

Sleek rimless glass tank with garbage stock LED
Pros:- very sleek rimless glass tank. Trust me, it looks freaking awesome- small space requirement and looks very nice on a desk- lid is pretty well thought out: covers a good majority of the edge to prevent jumpers flying out, has a center hole large enough for light to shine through and to feed your fish, and has a small gap at the back to allow clip on lights and heater cords, etc.Con:- stock LED is dim. It works if you just want it to shine at your betta, but it's not good enough for any plants other than maybe duckweed and anubias. If you want a planted tank like I did, you almost must invest into another light option, or a window with adequate sunlight.- it's a small tank. It's very difficult to keep stuff alive if you don't know what you are doing- again, it's a small tank... which means finding equipment for it is tough. A filter for it without eating up a significant amount of space is basically impossible. I tried the smallest HOB filter I can find (Azoo Mignon) but the filter looks as wide as the tank itself and is just plain ugly and looks like a kid with a backpack bigger than himself, so I kind of give up on the idea of filter on this tank. Basically, if you care about looks, filter is probably out of the equation and you have to think of something else creative, like Walstad method tank, which is what I did with mine. If you really must have a filter, I would suggest doing a air pump sponge filter. Same with heater, it's hard to fit a glass tube heater and still look nice. The only ones I have found that would fit this and still look decent is the Marina c10 and the aquatop nano 15w, but these plastic heater, even with pre-adjusted temperature, generally don't perform as well as the glass one. They do the job at keeping a relatively stable warm temperature, but don't have high expectation on them.- weirdly bad quality control on these tanks. Maybe it's the low price point, or maybe the inventory has some bad stocks, but I feel like all of these tanks have varying degrees of minor scuffs and scratches on the glass walls. I had to get two of these, and find the one the least scratches and return the other one. They are not major, but I wasn't very happy paying 20 bucks for a beautiful rimless 1 gallon glass cube that comes with scuffs and scratches.Overall, pretty happy with this. It's small, it's rimless, it's glass, it's sleek, it's affordable, and it's exactly what I wanted to build a nano planted tank. But it's not a tank for everyone. It's not a toy and probably not a Christmas gift for your kid (unless your kid knows how to run a nano planted tank, then ok, this tank is awesome for him/her), because it won't be easy to keep a betta alive in this tank. If you want a simple home for betta, get a 2.5 gallon one that comes with a filter. But if you are looking for a very sleek looking nano rimless glass tank for your nano aquascape project, this tank will be perfect. So think carefully and do more research before you buy this.

Small but crystal clear and great size for betta
The media could not be loaded. Adorable tank for my bedside table. Wouldn’t put more than a single betta in the tank it’s pretty small but good sized for one betta fish. I really like it. Thinking about buying another with a black lamp for the living room!

Too small for fish, but perfect for plants🌱
Perfect tank for my plants. I'm not sure if I would put a betta in this sized aquarium though... It's a bit too small for fish.

Nice bowl. Lousy light.
The cube itself is brilliant: Well made and convenient size for a goldfish or betta. The light is graded as F. The neck is flimsy. It has no on/off switch and the 110v cord is poor design. I expected a low voltage USB powered thinner wired light with an on/off and possibly a built in timer. If you want a fishbowl only, 5 stars. If you want a light with it, this is not recommended unless they redesign it.
