Excellent Resource For Self-Coaching and Coaching Others
I have been life coaching professionally for three years now, and I'm amazed at how many excellent resources are available for self-coaching and coaching others. This book is full of great questions, quotes, and exercises to help anyone set and achieve goals. I have given the book five stars because it is a a very good resource that I will use for myself and to help others that I coach for years to come. Here are some of helpful topics covered in this resource/workbook:What is life Coaching?- addresses issues related to what makes for successVisioning Your Future Self- has a very helpful template called the "Wheel of life" consisting of balancing 8 life parts: family/relationships, career/work, health/fitness, personal growth, money/finances, physical environment, fun/joy, and romance.Strategic PlanningDeveloping a Positive Image and AttitudeCommunicationWork and Life BalanceEach section is loaded with great questions in workbook format, great insights for action, and good thought provoking quotes.I have already used a lot of the ideas in this book in my personal life, and in coaching people in their relationships, in life balance, and goal setting. I highly recommend this workbook for anyone who wants to improve their own life, and the lives of others for the better. I will be coming to this resource again and again for years to come.

Good for those that really have no idea what Coaching would look like
I have been interested in potentially creating a coaching business for myself. I bought this book in addition to a couple other books to see if there are any universal rules that appear as similarities between other coaching lessons. This is more of workbook to help you figure out what a successful life will look like for you. It is a workbook, so you will be writing things down and it's very straight forward.

Terrific outline for tools you can customize
There are so many starting places for a practice of life and business coaching. Every author has a perspective or nuance they can add to the practice but the core toolset remains and Coach Phyllis provides a great framework for your own practice in a light and quick read of tools. She mentioned you can read from front to back or pick bits and pieces as you need; and she is right. It reads fine either way.

An interesting guide to Life Coaching
Properly scripted with action learning points. The life balance issues were covered more in the positive whilst the strategies on real negative aspects in ones life,in my opinion, could have been glossed over, thus removing the part of the day to day conversation. The book is a good guide and will help individuals use this to chart their course along with other experiences and tools from other contributors in the coaching discipline.

Very useful
The biggest challenge for many new coaches is to ask “powerful” questions. A powerful question is the one asked in the right moment. It doesn’t have to be impressively elaborated, just precise. The questions in this book are all powerful to support a client’s journey towards his/her goals.
