MTAWD Steel Car Door Sills Scuff Plate Protector Trim for Mazda CX-5 2014-2020 (with CX 5 Letter)

These scuff plates installed easily on my 2020 Mazda CX5. I used a blowdryer to heat the adhesive strips a little, and it became well affixed to my door sills. The look great, and are a good value for the money.

Make sure to clean area first and really apply pressure to make them stick . Actually used wood and wood clamps to hold them tight so they could adhere added extra 3m automotive tape to secure . Been 5 months and still looks good.

These are a great accent and protection for vehicke! Fit as expected. We used hairdryer to heat/warm surface and glue/tacky strips. Reasonable price.

Added to 2018 CX5 GT, looks nice enough. Doesn't seem to fit exactly with the contours of the door sills, as there is some smooth upwards curves. This made install a little more difficult. Also, fitting it against the side leaves the painted edges of the door sill exposed.

I think this looks great and serves its purpose. I added extra double sided tape (gorilla brand). The sills are not flat on my 2017 CX-5. Heat, extra tape, and some pressure made it work. Now we’ll see if it holds up. I was concerned reading other reviews but did it anyway. I am happy but individual results might vary.

Will do this one later. I haven't installed mine yet.

Easy to install very nice and durable with a grandchild.

Bought and installed this product in June 2020. Installation went fine, never had a problem with them coming loose. However, after a couple of Minnesota winters, the stainless steel started to rust. Obviously, they use a lot of road salt up here which got on the sills from our shoes and boots. I will have to replace these with something that doesn't contain metal.

ぴったりと貼り付けが出来ない隙間が出来てしまうので時間がたつと浮いてしまう。残念です。
