giving people's life meaning
In my opinion, I think this book is well written. Harold Kushner has a gift from God that he shares his entire story about what he has learned from his mistake in life and now he wants to pass those lessons on to the readers. Everything he says, is beneficial to anyone belief. This book may not have an answer for everything but it made a lot of sense about why people feel empty in spite of the fullness of their lives. Well, the messages and the things I learned from this book is this book can help anybody searching for happiness, direction, acceptance, and purpose in life.I think that Kushner tells stories by using a lot of metaphor and refers to the Bible. Even though I am not the religion person; some part of the book especially I cannot really understand how much of Kushner's explanation shows about Ecclesiastes actually meant, but I kind of like this book.

A self help book like no other
While most self help books talk about how to be number one., this deals with timeless questions of why we exist why do we suffer and how at end of life can we say we succeded. By drawing lessons from the Bible and contemporary literature we see how different people followed false paths to successful. At end of it all he recommends do those small daily activities well as this may be the ultimate meaning of life

Addresses the question of inner happiness.
Many people find dreams fulfilled, needs addressed beyond their wildest hopes, but still feel unsatisfied. This addresses the need for spiritual awareness to be emotionally happy and at peace with oneself.

Just a great gift to the entrepreneur, the deist, or the searcher.
of all the great books of business of today, this book is part of an equation; Bennis (on becoming a leader) Drucker (innovation and entrepreneurialship) Scheffelbein (Get out of IT) Stirt (Quantations) and Dwyer (Real Magic). One's formula to a good understanding of business, whether it's your life, your obsession or what you need to prove; and by understanding Kushner's "know how" of the human condition; success of living your life with understanding is easily achieved...

Ecclesiastes for Modern Man
A wonderful read, looking at Ecclesiastes through the eyes of the modern reader, and reminding us of both impermanence as well as lasting joy associated with fully living. This book was inspirational and eye opening. A great read.

When all You've Ever Wanted ....
Rabbi Kushner brilliantly uses the Biblical book of Ecclesiastes to explore why so many of us are never satisfied with what we have. A tremendous antidote for the 'I want more' consumer rat race. Read it and understand!

Vale a leitura!
