For a while there, like many people, I wasn't going out at all, so a vitamin-D supplement was all important. These have been as good as any and there are plenty of them for the price.

Although we can get vitamin D in our diet, we make most of it when sunlight hits our skin. During the lockdown we’re going out less and getting less sunlight. Because of this the current (22/06/2020) NHS guidelines recommends taking a supplement of 10 micrograms of vitamin D per day. But the guidelines also go on to say “There have been some news reports about vitamin D reducing the risk of coronavirus,”, so there’s even more reason to take it. These tablets contain 25 micrograms of vitamin D, so a decent amount. They also contain 75 micrograms of vitamin K, and there’s evidence that this too may protect against the worst effects of COVID-19.These vitamins come in capsule form and are food based so they might be more easily absorbed.Overall this is a great supplement to take at the moment, although quite pricey at 40p/capsule (at £11.95 for 30).

I like that this supplement is from a vegan source and prepared in a food matrix. Other Vit D supplements I've tried have disagreed with me, but been taking these for over a week and so far no problems.The capsules are small, tasteless and easy to swallow. Can't tell yet if they are having the hoped for benefits of improved immunity.Delivery was straightforward, no delays. The bottle is excessively large for the number of capsules contained.Update: after a few weeks this started to upset my stomach like all other Vit D supplements I have tried, so had to stop taking them ☹

I ordered these for my 19 year old daughter.She has always been picky with food and since becoming vegetarian I worry she is not getting everything she needs from diet especially as she is a vegetarian who dislikes most vegetables and fruits! Add to this the worries of lockdown and lack of sunlight and I just wanted something to give her a boost.This seems to be a good mix the D vitamins along with vitamin k and added shiitake should help boost her immunity,help absorption of calcium and support bone strength and be good for blood.My daughter hates pills so was pleased to see was quite a small pill and was 1 a day dose.The pill was swallowed easily with drink.All information is on label ingredients and allergy information as well as company address and email.Its a UK company so conforms to all conditions of food supplements.You receive 30 capsules so 30 days supply.Its very hard to give feedback on vitamins as any improvement in health will be gradual but I’m happy with pills and believe contain what say and will be helpful supplements for daughter.The bottle is really nice, a Matt black and feels to be China/porcelain type material my goth daughter has decided when contents are used she will remove label and use as display/storage bottle.Reasonably priced for combined supplement and will buy again
