Dupont Crimper,Yangou Pin Crimping Tool,28-18AWG 0.1-1.0mm² with Wire-electrode Cutting Die,SN-28B Molex Crimping Tool

I had a hell of a time learning to use it but there are some great video tutorials. The item is good quality and it works. The actual jaws seem replaceable. Would really like to know how to get additional jaws.

I use this tool for making my own R/C servo extensions. After some initial disappointment with the way it worked I watched some more youtube videos and finally understood. This is why I gave four stars instead of five. There are NO instructions included with the tool. Understand that there is an adjustment for the amount of pressure you can use before the tool releases, there is a little lever inside the handle to release pressure before pressing all the way if you initially get things misaligned, and that both of the anvils (I think that's what they're called, the part where the connector goes with the wire) can be reversed side to side and which one is on top or bottom. I went through a box of almost 30 connectors before I could consistently make good servo connections. I am certain that is not the tool's fault, it was my lack of knowledge because after I learned I and make good connections with it.I'll be using this tool for a very long time.

Never used a molex crimper before, so I had to look up a YouTube video to see exactly how to use it as there aren't any instructions for this, which I'm sure is because if you're buying one of these, you either know how to use one already, or you aren't afraid to learn.

Really bad crimper tool. it doesnt work properly... it doesnt fit very well so i have to sand the yaw to work at least better thant the stock also i printed a square washer to rise a little more the yaw.. bad tool and there is no any quality check on this.

Great product for this price point. I was able to figure out how to use it to make some homemade crimps for some wire connections.

Decent tool, worth the money

I am using this tool to crimp electrical connections for servo connectors on RC aircraft. It is ratcheting mechanism so to release it you need to squeeze it all the way closed. In exchange for this review I look forward to having a spontaneous dance, in a public place, done in my honor. Thanks and seriously it is a good product. Just make sure you get the correct crimper for the size of your wire and connectors.
