So fun to read with kids
My daughter loves to look at all the pictures and find neat things in each one! She’s only 18 months and specifically requests this book for bedtime every night:) it’s such a cozy book to read and makes us so thankful for our own cozy little house. Bonus that our house matches the one featured in the book almost perfectly!!

Beautiful and Thought Provoking
My 3 year old and I just love pouring over this book. The text is simple and calming, and the pictures are full of detail. The preschooler loves asking questions and making up back stories to the many curious objects around the home. For me, the book is a lovely reminder that "clutter" can be beautiful. I feel a lot of pressure to be the perfect "minimalist parent" and have a beautiful austere environment with a strict toy and book rotation per the popular parenting books of our time. This book reminds me of my childhood bedroom, full of books, experiments, projects, and treasured collections. There are many beautiful ways to live, and it's funny that it took a children's book to remind me of this.
