I got this for a Hocus Pocus cosplay, I was Winifred Sanderson. It was awesome. The color and quality was gorgeous! It is a bit long, I am 5'6'', was wearing 3 inch heels, and have wide shoulders and quite a bit of butt and it still was about 3 inches too long. That was great for the effect I wanted but it did keep getting stepped on so you may need to shorten the bottom if you're not very tall, but if you are tall, then it will work great! You can kind of see it in this photo!

I ordered this for cosplay on our Harry Potter Book Night at my library in February. I looked at several on Amazon and other places, and I settled on this one. Even though it ties at the throat, this cape is NOT standard cheap Halloween garbage. It is is a nice quality velvet, and it is a deep, rich green. Shipping was speedy, too. You won't be disappointed in this one.

This was ideal for my Hocus Pocus costume. Great color. Nice quality. It was very long. I am 5’ 5”. I really should have hemmed it before adding the embellishments. I wore higher heels so I like the added length but it was still a bit of a trip hazard.

Quick shipping but the size chart was a little confusing. These aren’t made very wide and the sizes state they only accomadate for length. It does not cover the arms well for bigger folks so perhaps try one size larger than you think you need.

I wish this weren’t *quite* as long as it is, but for the price it’s fine. Hood is nice and big and the velvet is pretty albeit clearly cheap. I am 5’8” ish.

Its a good price, so I cant complain too much, but it is much smaller than I hoped or expected. It is also see through, so I am having to add a lining on the inside. It took a very long time to get here so I was really eager to receive it and use it for a photo shoot. I was unable to do so, because the light went right through it like nylons. It would probably be ok for a night shoot or a costume worn at night, though.

The fabric is soft and I did not see any loose threads. The dark green is a very pretty color. I bought a size large and it was extremely long. My daughter is about 5'8" and it came all the way to the floor.

I kept having to pull it forward all day (wore it on Halloween as Arwen). But it was not so big that I couldn't use it. Was also a teensy bit too long for me, but almost everything is because I'm 5'2"/

The one positive thing that I can say about this is that it arrived really quickly. Weeks sooner than expected which was really awesome.Unfortunately though, that's where the happiness ends.This product is extremely overpriced for how huge a piece of crap it is.The fabric is so thin that you can see straight through it, and the material itself is an extremely low grade fake velvet that is unpleasant to the touch.There is absolutely no lining an no finish to the cape - just a rough, industrial serge stitch around the edge of the fabric. I honestly thought that they only sent me HALF the cape because it looks so unfinished.The hood itself isn't nearly as baggy as it looks in the photo, and it drapes very poorly - it is not flowey at all, it looks like they used as little fabric to make it as possible.I wouldn't even use this as a pattern piece for making future cloaks out of better fabric.An absolute disappointment, this thing shouldn't cost more than $5 as it looks like something you could pick up from Walmart.
