Et Tu, Babe

Pretty simple, give a mind like this the royalties from his first book, and he will parlay his winnings into a book twice as valuable! Somehow by completely making up nonsense, then filing it down to what is sort of possible, he comes up with super ego sci-fi comedy B.S... If you look twice, this novel emanates from 2 places, it was written a couple of decades ago, but it reeks of the near future.

Incredible, hilarious, and soon to be lost in time. It’s as if Douglas Adams had a cocaine, steroid and parrot problem and wrote this novel under a pseudonym. Like a line of grade A blow, Et Tu Babe is short, thick and packed with new ideas.

If HST and Wodesworth made a sweet, sweet love child, he/she/they would have a LOT in common with Leyner when he was a love child. Probably.

I dare you to read this book.It is very funny. It is very worrisome. I like it a lot.

Mark leyner is the best writer in all of history. Psuedo-disorienting (and intentionally so), wildly vulgar, hilarious, and overall genius. Will read again for sure.

He is just a very enjoyable read. I never really know what's going on but I love the voyage through the pages. This is my second book by the author.

Who wants to spend time reading about how much gold someone wears and other trashy indulgences. It was not interesting to me in content and the egotistical self indulged tone bothered me to no end. If that was the purpose of the book, well done - still not worth reading to me.

It's absolutely absurdist comedy surrealism - Hunter S. Thompson esque sci-fi. If you are looking for something ridiculous, witty and perverted to read, this is for you.
