Pros: Beautiful and unique instrument.Cons: Frets are off. There are two 3.5 mm headphone jacks that are deep in the wood. The heaphones need to have a long, thin end to reach the jack. Wasn’t given any explanation of what each jack is for.

The instrument feels very sturdy and solid. It's fun to play. I love the through-neck and design of the instrument. It also holds its tuning very well. The action is good and I appreciated that it came with Aquila strings. Also came with a nice gig bag (easily worth $30) A very good build for $120 in my opinion.The electronics unfortunately aren't stellar. Every once and a while the instrument makes a weird sonar like sound. The volume control also changes the tone. I keep mine all the way up so it's not necessarily an issue. The tone volume seems best when rolled back slightly from the middle position. It takes a while to find the sweet spot. The headphone output is very weak and doesn't make the instrument sound good at all. I bought a mini headphone amplifier by Monoprice ($10) that works much better for when I want to use headphones.Overall, I can't complain for $120. Has been nice to practice at night without waking up my wife and kids. I do wish the electronics were better but they get the job done. In the end I'd recommend the uke, especially if it's one that will expand your collection.

I haven't bought the ukulele yet, but I did test it out at a local music store and this uke has a great sound and feel!
