Echo Hoop Collapsible Travel Hula Hoop - Several Color Choices

This is a reasonable hoop, if a bit sticky from the adhesive on the tape they wrap the pipe with. The joiner has a button with a reasonable detent on the outside for breaking it down to make it smaller. What I don't understand is why they package it with a half twist instead of undoing the clip and tightening by half before re-clipping it. The half twist means the product sits for a long time with a half twist which means when you take it out of the package it doesn't lay flat anymore. You have to twist it the other way to get it to even come close to being a circle again. This could be completely avoided if they just disconnected at the break and made it two small loops, and either left it that way or re-attached.

I was so disappointed in this hoop. The connection point won't snap in and hold. Money down the drain for me.

This hoop was exactly what I was looking for at a great price. I need a collapsible hoop for travel and this will fit easily in my checked luggage.

Da*n, this is one high-quality hoop! The grip-tape is so effective and amazing. The hoop is so light and fun to play with! I'm still a little confused with the travel folding but I'll get the hang of it! I wish I would've bought one ages ago!

I like this product, it is fun to use! Very lightweight, it was a little difficult to untwist but I like the feature of being able to collapse.

I don't like how difficult it is to collapse it back down to travel size. Other than that, I like the product. I just can't travel with it because I can't collapse it

Took this on a road trip with me so I could hoop at the beach. Breaks down well, stays round when open, all in all great hoop. I do wish I could have had one slightly larger, but that is my only complaint.

This is a great choice for a beginner hula hoop for those of less than average adult height. I'm 5 foot petite and chose this hoop because the diameter is just right, it is proportional for me, but not too small for learning to waist hoop (which is easier the bigger the hoop is). I went to lessons and found the beginner hoops there a bit too big, and for me, too heavy for off body tricks using your hands. So I decided to bring this hoop to the lesson. It was great! I can waist hoop, jump through, go from waist to lasso and do all kinds of off body tricks easier with this hoop.For travel, I recommend unpopping the connector, but NOT squeezing the hoop completely in half or joining it back up. Instead just ease it down to a manageable size that doesn't put excess strain on the hoop, then wrap something around it to secure. I used a bungee cord and popped it in a bag-for-life! I later found out some of the pros have recommended doing exactly this for button connector hoops. My hoop goes back into shape really nicely, and if it's a little uneven it soon becomes perfect again with a bit of use. Also I would only store these at full size.It comes down to what you want out of your hoop:- If you want the easiest time learning to waist hoop, you would be better going for a bigger and heavier hoop. Saying that, I'm considering adding an extra row of grip tape to mine for a little more weight.- If you prefer to do lots of off body/isolation tricks, you're probably better off with a naked hoop without the grip tape.- If you're a shorty like me, learning on body AND off body at the same time and need one hoop to do both, I think this one is great. And best of all you can easily take it with you.

I had previously purchased a hoopmania hula hoop at just a couple of pound more and this one on paper seemed to be on par just a little cheaper so I went for it. It was a gift for someone who loved mine so was hoping for the same standard. When the hula hoop arrived I immediately felt a little disappointed as it was certainly no where near as robust and felt a little cheap. The fabric will almost certainly come away and it is also quite a challenge to 'collapse and transport'. I definitely feel this is over priced and I would 100% recommend anybody to go for the hoopmania which I will also be writing a review on shortly.

Great hoop, I haven't tried disassembling mine yet but as a hoop it's very good.

Nice color selection. When unfolded very large diameter - not suitable for a child. Very tough to roll back in looped travel position. Fair price.

Für Anfänger ist der Reifen bestimmt optimal. Für mich aber zum trainieren ist das gar nichts. Dafür ist er zu leicht und zu klein.Aber sonst ist das ein toller Reifen.

Der Reif ist einfach nur blöd. Ich bekomme ihn nicht rund auseinandergefaltet. Lieber im Geschäft einen vernünftigen kaufen.

Average quality. It’s extremely light, it has no weight to it but it is a nice size. I’m going to try and fill it with sand to see if that helps. It’s pretty hard to open and even harder to close. Overall I’d say it’s average not the best both the worst.
