Is there any other fastener or better clips than the "C" clips that currently attach to the battery terminals?? they don't work with newer batteries

My car is a 2015 and my husbands truck is a 2021 and we both have them on our vehicles. We live in the country and a mouse caused over 700.00 of damage just a month after he bought his truck. But the clips work on both our cars. So I don’t know what else would work.
