Cyanics Aluminum Sync and Charge Docking Station -Color Option-Black - Cable Included

The stand is adorable and very durable. I really like the design. It even comes with a USB cable. In landscape view this product is amazing.However when I placed my phone in portrait view without any cover on it, it slides around too much. It's completely dependent on the USB cable to hold the phone in its place without sliding off. The aluminum has no cushion to prevent sliding.Then comes the casing problem. I have a total of 4 casings. I tried it with the  Cosmos ® Blue TPU Case with Stand for Samsung I9300 Galaxy S3 SIII + Free Cosmos Cable Tie  and it does not fit in portrait view.Then I tried it with the  Diztronic Matte Back Black Flexible TPU Case & Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S III (Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Verizon and International Carriers) [Diztronic Retail Packaging ] in portrait view and it does not fit either.I won't even go into the other two casings (a leather casing and a silicone casing) I have because they are thicker than the 2 TPU casings I have.I had such high hopes for this docking station but for the Samsung Galaxy S3 Verizon 16GB White Version it just doesn't dock in portrait view properly.
