sweet, sexy, and heartwarming story
‘Boarded by Love’ is the first book of the ‘Bellevue Bullies’. This book is how I met Toni Aleo and got hooked :) What can I say, I am a huge Toni Aleo fan and I will read any book she writes in the future even without reading the synopsis. For me reading order was kind of messed up. I first read ‘Bellevue Bullies’ and then started reading ‘Assassins’ but during my first re-read, I combined both series and re-ordered them. Now it makes more sense :) Because for me it was kind of got confusing when I was reading ‘Boarded by Love’, there are these aunts Reese, Elli, Audrey, Piper, Fallon, Harper and then the uncle Phillip Anderson and they were all big deals but I didn’t understand why. It all made sense after reading ‘Assassins’.So our hero and heroine for the ‘Boarded by Love’ are Jude Sinclair and Claire Anderson. Hopefully, you all remember Claire from ‘Breaking Away’. If not I totally recommend you to read that first, so you will get more of the background story. Claire is now a sophomore at University of Bellevue, she is going for a business degree. She had a horrible childhood until she started living with her uncle when she was 16. Claire is strong, beautiful, confident and really talented dancer and choreographer. Jude is sexy, sweet, cocky, and really talented hockey player, who is the captain of Bellevue Bullies. Jude is also a manwhore and doesn’t do relationships, but that totally changes when he meets with Claire. They are both not looking for a relationship but Claire cannot resist Jude’s charm and Jude knows the moment he meets Claire that she is a game changer. The chemistry between them is off the charts and they are soooo cute together. I loved how Claire makes Jude work for a date and he is tenacious and never gives up his pursuit until Claire agrees to go on a date with him. With their hectic schedules dating becomes a hassle but somehow they always make time for each other. They fall in love with each other hard and fast. Claire even trusts Jude enough to talk about her past. Even though Claire was afraid that Jude will be running away, he shows her that he loves all of her and her past doesn't change anything for him.One of my favorite parts of the book is when they meet with the families. Jude comes from a loving family, except his douchebag father. His mom is awesome. He has two brothers Jayden and Jace, who are also hockey players and his sister Lucy is an interior designer. OMG! When they are together, they are all like cats and dogs but you can feel the love and care between them. Other than his dad, all of them were really nice to Claire and loved her. However, Jude wasn’t that lucky. When Jude meet with the aunts, all of them were really nice to him but dinner with Phillip was a disaster. OMG! The way Phillip behaved was hilarious, I was laughing pretty hard. But soon Phillip is not the only problem their relationship faces. Teaching at Reese’s studio is not the only job Claire has, she also works as a dancer and choreographer in a Burlesque club. Other than Reese and the girls she works with in the club nobody knows about her job in the club. She is not really enjoying dancing part of her job but she makes a lot of money. Because of her painful past she is still having hard time to trust people to stay in her life and money is the only security she has and she doesn’t want to give that up. However, because she doesn’t want to keep lying to Jude and Phillip, she decides to quit. But before she has a chance everything comes out in the open. Will Phillip and Jude be able to forgive and accept Claire’s choices? Will Claire’s and Jude’s relationship survive? If you are wondering the answers, start reading ‘Boarded by Love’ as soon as you can :)This story is about importance of family, trust, unconditional love and forgiveness. It was great to be part of Claire and Jude’s journey. If you are looking for a sweet, sexy, and heartwarming story, you should give ‘Boarded by Love’ a shot.Would I recommend this book: Yes.Would I re-read this book: Already did.Would I read future books by this author: Yes.

New Spin Off Series - Bellevue Bullies - Great New Adult Read
Safe. Stable. Steady. That’s the exact life Claire Anderson is working towards as she dances and choreographs performances at Ms. Prissy’s Gentlemen’s Club. For more years than she can count, Claire has had to stand on her own, relying on only herself, so every night that she dances and earns tips is one step closer to a future that looks nothing like her past – a life where she doesn’t have to wonder where her next meal will come from or where she will live. And, even though her uncle and his fiancée got her out of an extremely difficult situation, Claire still doesn’t trust that they won’t leave her fending for herself. Old attitudes and perceptions are hard to break even when a different truth seems to be staring her in the face.Game ChangerThat’s what Jude Sinclair, big man on campus and number one player on and off the ice, believes when he first meets Claire. There’s something about her that draws him in and makes him want to give up his manwhore ways. But even though Claire appreciates Jude’s hotness, she also knows his game. She doesn’t think Jude wants more than a roll in the sack…another notch on his bedpost because that’s exactly how his college life has been. She doesn’t see a future with Jude; she can’t because everywhere she looks, there’s someone telling her that Jude’s a dog and that any relationship with him is doomed from the start. But Jude’s tenacity wears her down, and soon, they find themselves in a relationship where feelings run deep, but that doesn’t erase the doubts that Claire has about Jude’s ability to remain faithful with all of the talk around campus or the fact that Claire’s keeping secrets from Jude that could change the way he sees her.Can Claire and Jude make their relationship work despite the outside forces that want them apart? Can Claire work through her need to rely only on herself and let others in to help ease the load? Pick up a copy of Boarded by Love and find out for yourself.I’m a huge fan of sports romance stories, and I’ve read several of Toni Aleo’s Assassins books, so it was a no brainer for me to dive into Claire and Jude’s story. The Bellevue Bullies’ series may be on the collegiate level, but it still delivers the drama and angst found in Toni’s other stories. There is an insta love aspect to Boarded by Love and a complete 180 degree change by the hero, and while I can see why both could be hard for readers, it’s also conceivable that finding the right person can be that game changer that Jude believes Claire is. Should he be as perfect as he seems to be once finding Claire? Maybe not, but Jude is the type of person who puts his all into things that matter to him, and Claire clearly means a lot to him.Claire is a fantastic heroine. She definitely has her flaws, but after the life she led as a child, she seems to know exactly what she wants in life. I love her sass and ability to give as good as she gets. Her internal dialogue illustrates how conflicted she is with her decision to hide the full truth from Jude, but it also explains her reasons for keeping it close to the vest. Jude definitely rocks as a hero; his love for his family and their closeness added to his appeal. I love that he doesn’t apologize for his past; it is what it is, and he moves forward knowing that he won’t do anything that will ruin what he has with Claire.Boarded by Love is a great choice for fans of the New Adult genre. Its mix of romance, conflict, and emotional angst will keep readers invested in the story. I love that readers get to catch up with some of the stars from Aleo’s Assassins’ series, and Phillip and Reese’s roles in Claire’s story play a pivotal part in helping her achieve her goals. I really hope that Jude’s brother’s story is next!A complimentary copy was provided in exchange for an honest review.4 poison apples (The Fairest of All Book Reviews)

Bully for me
This way a freebie 1-click for me and my introduction to the author. It was an enjoyable read and definitely left me wanting to read more by this author, especially the Assassins team who got mentions with characters appearing throughout this story. Both of our main characters had their flaws; Jude in the beginning was just a bit too cocky and arrogant for my liking but not enough for me to utterly dislike him and he did mellow out. Whilst Claire made decisions that I felt were childish and immature I could also understand to a degree why she did it.Like I say neither character was perfect yet somehow I still thoroughly enjoyed this book (which undoubtedly shows the strong writing skills from the author) and reading about their budding relationship with all the drama (her past, his past,) insta-lust etc. Some have said that the story is overly sweet and I can understand that point of view but sometimes it is just exactly what we need.

Loved it
This was a good, sweet romance book to read. It had a bit of drama in it but not too much. I liked that both of the characters had a bit of a past. I am very much looking forward to reading more of these books.I think this could be read as a standalone. However if you end up liking it like I did, you probably will want to read more. This seemed to be a spin off series from the assassins series. It didn't matter that I hadn't read any of the books from that series. In fact after finishing this book, I am wanting to read the assassins series more to get to know characters that were featured and find out what their stories are.

Fantastic
Loved Jude and Claire! This is book one in a brand new series for Toni. If you think Claire is familiar well you would be right! She is the niece of Phillip in the assassins series and at college now. Jude is the star and captain of the hockey team. When these two cross paths you know there is no looking back! I absolutely loved it and it was also fun catching up with Reese and Phillip!

Way too drawn out
I love a good college romance. Jude and CLAIRE were lovely relatable characters. I loved their first quarter of the book as they fell In love. After that though it got boring. The story just drags on and on and on- with nothing really happening.I honestly think that half of this book could have been taken out and it would have made for a stronger read.I won't be reading any more in this series.

Love this book!
It’s got such a sexy feel to this book with all the dancing from Claire and the club. It’s so good to see how she’s now getting on after everything that happened from when we met her in the assassins series.Jude is just perfect for Clair too. The player of campus turning into a one woman man as soon as he meets the right girl. He’s so sweet but full of it too which is just what Clair needs. It’s just perfect. And I love that we get to see more of Reese and Phillip in this too.
