Nature Power 21090 Solar Outdoor LED Umbrella Light, Black Finish, 4-Pack

To be honest, I probably had higher expectations for this product anyways. It was dimmer than I expected it to be and I also did not realize that the LED hangs from the top instead of be the tip of the 'faux' wick. It's worked pretty well for me overall, and is nice to look at. I don't know that I'd buy this again though...it's just okay. The light is more orange than the yellow I thought it would be. Maybe I need to change out the rechargeable battery? Not sure. I bought this a few months ago and it's still working perfectly fine.*** UPDATE 11/04/12 ***You should change out the rechargeable batteries. The standard charge on AAA batteries are 750 mAh, but the ones in the lanterns are something like 600 mAh, which is why they are so dim. Swap out the batteries and it'll help with the brightness :)

However, after having them less than a month, I have them set to auto on and suddenly today in the Florida Sunshine I noticed one of them was on. I had to turn it off as to allow it to continue to charge. It would be great if there was a way to rest the auto feature but after reading the instructions again, I failed to find a way to reset the auto on feature. Nice lights but only giving them 3 stars due to one is not working correctly after less than a month.

I hung these from our patio umbrella and they look nice, I love the style, just like candles in there...probably not as bright as candles would be...but it sets a nice ambiance for a summer night. If you're wanting them to light up an area, dont buy. They set off a very, very soft golden glow, but not bright by any means. I give it 4 stars for ambiance, 1 star for brightness. A little pricey I thought too, but actually Amazon had the cheapest deal after searching throughout the internet.

I had hoped they would be a bit bigger, but they work fine. They fit easily on the hangers already in place and look very nice in our backyard. They do great for ambience, but do not expect them to provide enough light to see. However, I have them hanging on my fence quite a bit apart from each other. If they were used as intended (hanging on the umbrella over the table), that might be a different story. I would recommend them to other buyers. The cost for the product was exceptional.

I needed solar lantern lights that I could set in my back yard along a seat wall for ambiance. The lanterns give off a yellow light that looks just like a candle. The lanterns are small (5" tall x 3" deep). The detachable wire handle is an additional 3.25" tall. I wanted a larger lantern, but it's easy to gather up 6 lanterns by the handle and move them to a sunny location during the day to charge and then set them out on the wall at night. Our seat wall is in a full-shade, so that is why I have to move the lanterns to a sunny spot to charge. One charge in the sun for about 4-hours will last for two nights. These only give off a small amount of light, about the same as a votive tea light. They are not adequate for reading.

They are cute and they hang on well to my patio umbrella. I am just kinda bummed because they really are not very bright at all. I know it's supposed to be accent lighting but its just a glimmer. I wouldn't be able to use them anywhere else. They need a second lighting source. i.e: Solar string lights. Also, the metal bar and clip that holds them is already rusting. We have only had one light rain and they are rusting. I hope it doesn't rust out the handles. :( Other than that, they are very cute for the patio umbrella

These lanterns are smaller than I thought they would be but they cast a soft yellow light that is mellow and soothing. However i had to put a small rock on the top of two of them in order to keep the light on. Its for tahat reason I didn't give them 5 stars.

I have then hanging on my patio umbrella. They don't all charge equally & they don't seem to stay lit as long as I would like... really only good for a few hours. But I like the look of the lanterns.

the ad was deceiving....there is not sufficient light coming from these lanterns, specially with the price I paid

The units are smaller than what I thought I purchased, but they work. Not bad for the price.

They look adorable on the fence posts

Smaller than I though they would be but should work perfect for under the umbrella.
