Have used other window film from this company and this one was easier to use as it’s much thicker. Looks very nice - almost like miniblinds. High quality. Very good at obscuring what is inside during day and at night with light on inside. Very happy with this product. Highly recommend

I tried several different films for the two side windows on either side of my front door, these have been the best looking ones. Good for appearance and privacy.

My sidelights are comprised of six 7"x11" window panes. Cutting the film to size was easy enough. Being so small, all I had to do is wash the windows, peel off the backing (did NOT have to use the recommended tape trick), align to window, press and dry squeegee. No need to apply the soap water solution and work out bubbles. It stuck good on its own. A bit of water may have help a bit if I had to do a lot of alignment. But with these small size applications, it's simple. I'm less impressed with the design. Please refer to my photos. From the outside during daylight the look just like miniblinds. From the inside, with the sun shining through, the design sparkles which enhances the dot pattern. It's not horrible but in no way do mini blinds look like that. Also, you really cannot see through this design at all - that's either bad or good depending on what you're expecting. Not quite as translucent as the sample image provided by the manufacturer.

Looks great on the outside, but you should know that on the inside you cannot see out. It does still let the light in.

Spend hours cutting and putting up on sidelights of front door. Product did not stay on. Waste of time and money

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Looked the ease of application! Looks really good on my side windows that I couldn't find shades small enough!

I have purchased four boxes of GILA BLACK window tint,and wanted a different look for another room. These look just like mini blinds but are not see thru. Great product easy to install

Though not the easiest product to install due to multiple steps required to accomplish a satisfactory install, that aside, this product does exactly what it says. It is an attractive design and works very well. The product eliminates most visibility through the windows but allows adequate sunlight to provide a gentle but comforting source.

Pretty easy to install and width wise it fit the window perfectly and I only had to cut a little off the bottom. The suggestion to use a credit card with paper towel is great. Easily gets the bubbles out and soaks it up when at the edges. As to looks, I love it. From the outside it really looks like blinds. My neighbours could look right into the living area of my home and it really bothered me. Now they can't and still plenty of light comes in. I have a transom window above and had to use something else as there is no short wide version of thisl It would be really nice to get a wide version of this. ie 6' but still with vertical blind look.

Was looking for a solution for my door side window that was clear... this did the job nicely and still lets light come in. Was easy to install, just make sure you truely wet the window with the solution before applying. I did my with a credit card and it worked perfectly...
