How many of you were paid with free product to write a review?

I was in the past for a diff product and not just by this company. Our reviews are more important than people realize.

Allow me to enlighten. Your doctors will not tell you what these supplements can do because what they can do and say is heavily regulated by the FDA. Naturals are not because they are not uniquely created compounds that can be patented and sold for hundreds and thousands of dollars. For instance, a month's supply of brand name A**** usually is upwards of $900. A month's worth of X****, exclusively produced by one company in the US and only distributed by one US pharmacy and requires an extensive process where you get to know your pharmacist by name, ends up being about $6,000. Yes, for a one-month supply. Natural alternatives to these are either illegal or not at all regulated, so information varies and possible side-effects, contra-indications, and drug interactions are hard to find and take a lot of research. So, finding a trusted, good quality brand is a process of trial and error, as well.

All of that, kids, is why these online reviews are so important. We are one another's best source of information, down to the best ways and times to dose and what to ingest it with. I have been offered free product of my choosing from this company in the past in exchange for a review of a different supplement. Both products were of good quality, packaged well, came in a timely manner and I have yet to order anything from them that I was not satisfied with. This is just one of my go-to brands and this marketing tool is no different from what many similar companies are doing. Not nearly enough people know about these and who doesn't love free stuff? We are killing ourselves with pharmaceuticals and even OTC meds (the warning labels on all ibuprofen products literally list death as a possible side effect). So, this keeps customers happy and gets vital info out there that is intentionally obscured and hard to find. You're welcome.

I did not experience a bad taste.  I mix 6 grams of L-Tyrosine and 3 grams of L-Glutamine and 2 grams of Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy.

What is the expiration date?

I have some NOW FOODS tyrosine powder from 2009 that I always kept refrigerated. It is still snow white. I have been using it and can feel the difference so it must be good if not at 100%. I am about to run out so will order more of the same or this one from Bulk Supplements. The price of the two is almost the same when ordering a pound of either. NOW will price out at $24/pound while Bulk Supplements is the same price but for 500 grams which means it is roughly 12% more tyrosine per dollar. Buy one NOW tyrosine powder and now you have a clearly marked largish container to put 25% or so of your Bulk Supplements tyrosine into.Taking just less that one level teaspoon in the morning on empty stomach and same or half the dose in the evening. Get some 7% Lugols at ebay and rub into your skin where it is hairless such as your forearm. Or shave hair arond your stomach with a beard trimmer. Rub Lugols in there.The two make a thyroid booster. How much longer will the 3.5 oz powder last compared to the 100 capsules?

It depends on the size of the capsules. 3.5 ounces is 100 grams which would be equal to 200 each, 500 mg capsules or 133 each, 750 mg capsules, or 100 each, 1000 mg capsules. This is assuming an accurate scale to weigh each dose. The bag claims a dose is 400 mg, which would be 250 doses. If you use a scoop, weigh out ten scoops and then take an average to determine the dose over time.
