These are not heavy duty cabinet latches. Even though they have a metal finish on them, they are made out of plastic. Nonetheless they work just fine and for a small cabinet door they work great. The metal finish looks nice and you wouldn't know looking at them that they are plastic.

Cheap plastic components, some don't work correctly out of the box, these will not work on 3/4" laminated door, though I did use them on 3/4" doors, they are only good on 5/8" or thinner. Not too sure how long they will last. I have to warranty my work for a full year.

I was skeptical ording these, but they are the exact same handles I recently bought at a much higher price. They function perfectly as long as they're installed on the correct thickness cabinet door. Some of my doors are thicker and required a stud (I fabricated) for them to function correctly. Overall these are great handles.

I had this design latch in a truck camper and thought they were so nice that I wanted them in my cargo trailer conversion. Well this are the pits. Right out of the package, you have to fidget with some to simply open / close. I had to reject 2 because they simply would not click in to lock. You either install these on 3/4" door / drawer fronts or jump thru hoops to get them to work on 1/2". Next the catch that mounts into the cabinet is tiny and isn't adjustable. Common sense says there has to be adjustability there. The screws are incredibly tiny, so I used larger screws, but not being adjustable is poor. Next is the hole you drill for the trim ring to fit into. It isn't 1", its about 1-1/16" but you might have to file out a bit. The size of the hole isn't forgiving. Too small and the ring goes in but rubs on the pushbutton, slight too big and the ring falls out. I had to use adhesive on some that came out slightly too large. I added 8 of these today and took about 6 hours. Looking back, I should have trashed them and got a better quality.

Get what you pay for. I returned for Sea Dog Lines latches with a metal knob and ring. A bit more money though.

Only half or so will be functional. Returning.

Without instructions, successfully installing these will be difficult, if not completely unsuccessful. Very disappointed.
