adidas outdoor AX2 Hiking Shoe - Women's

Although so many reviews stated that these shoes run 1/2 a size too large, I ordered my actual size (9) because I have Adidas running shoes that fit more perfectly than any shoe I've ever had. I've been hiking all summer in those without any foot discomfort, but need better traction.I received the size 9 shoes and guess what! Too big. I did the return procedure, and when I went to the same shoe, the size option only reflected a 8.5 available (when there had been an abundance of sizes available before). Additionally, the price was $10 higher than I'd paid for the first shoe. So, while I wasn't charged a fee to return the first pair, I did have to pay an extra $10. The whole process leads me to believe that Amazon has algorithms attached to Prime accounts. If this is the case, it disappoints me because I love Amazon Prime and have given it as gifts to others. I really don't want to have to find another source for all of my shopping!About the shoe: The 8.5 fits perfectly and comfortably, is lightweight, and appears to be sturdy. I'll know what hiking in them is like this weekend. Aspen to Crested Butte and back.

Fit just right, good quality, a nice look. Good, lightweight yet supportive, hiking shoe. I use them for everyday walking around.Generally, I do not purchase shoes and then immediately travel - but I did in this case. Plenty of walking on concrete and on dirt paths - no blisters, no achy feet. Yay! Arrived promptly.

i am just trying on these now. on the picture, it has white heels/sole. but this one i got has a gray color.1) noticed that adidas has this flimsy shoe laces on all their shoes2) normally i am an 8 1/2 but the size 8 i ordered is still a tad longer on the toes. my old hiking shoes are Columbia and a size 9 is already a bit snug on my feet.so i do not know if i'll keep these. they look nice, though bulky. sorry to compare, but my Columbia shoes are pretty wide but they do not feel bulky.i think i feel that way because my shin is small but my calf is slightly big because of hiking.

Purchased these for upcoming trip which involves a lot of walking on challenging terrain. Felt immediately comfortable and secure in them . Great buy.

Its nice, even if the rocks are pointy sharp, this pair of shoes just protects my feet
