Does not work for printers
Saw a review claiming it allowed connecting a printer's usb cable to a router or access point. It definitely does not. The description is correct in saying it does not work for nearly anything. If you want to connect a usb device to a network you'd need a print server/ device server/ usb over IP, which is $40 - $100.

Excellent quality adapter for data lines to USB. I use it to make my old wired printer semi-wireless by using an extender to provide signal which I then connect from the data jack to the printer.
