Square D - HOM40M200VP Homeline 200-Amp 40-Space 40-Circuit Indoor Main Breaker Load Center with Cover Value Pack

If you are buying this to upgrade your service and your municipality has adopted the 2014 version of the NEC, this will work but you have to modify it. I'm not an electrician but I decided to upgrade the electrical from 150 amps to 200 amps. New code requires a separate disconnect outside near the meter can or a combo meter can / disconnect. I had to buy a separate outside disconnect. In that disconnect, you have to bond the ground and neutral together. When you connect that disconnect to an inside panel, you don't connect the ground to the neutral. You remove the green screw in this Square D box so the neutral bar is not bonded to the box, but then you have to install your own ground bars. It has tapped holes for additional ground bars on the sides but they don't line up with the Homeline ground bars they sell at Home Depot or Lowe's. And I had to go to electrical supply house to get a special lug with 3 prongs to fit in three of the slots on the newly added ground bar that is big enough to handle your 4/0 aluminum ground wire. The box is so big I actually added 3 ground bars (2 on bottom corners and 1 in upper left). Ended up having to buy a tap and die set to mount the ground bars. You can also drill new holes in the ground bars to match up with the ones already pre-drilled in the box. No self tapping screws allowed, must be close threads and at least two threads have to catch in the new holes. Love the extra slots for breakers, just make sure you have enough room for existing wires if you are upgrading. Don't need the disconnect switch necessarily because you now have one outside but it is convenient having one inside. The breakers provided is a good value item. Door panel was bent a little on the edge but that was shipping company's fault and easily fixed with a rubber hammer on a piece of wood. Overall good box and would work perfectly if you are not subject to 2014 NEC codes.

Great electrical panel, comes with 3 20 amp single pole breakers and 2 30 amp double pole breakers. Has 40 spaces for up to 40 circuits. All in all square D is a very goo brand of electrical panel, definitely recommend this to any one from average home owner to pros.

A good all around box with a ton of space. This is a good choice if you need the extra connections for AFCI breakers, or you plan to run a ton of different circuits. A good product for the price.

Great usable panel with a main breaker and lots of easy to knock out - knockouts. Overall easy to install and has cheaper cost for breakers. Gotta love cheaper. Great pre-drilled pre-tapped holes for extra ground bars.

Has everything you need for a building that requires many circuits. Square D is always a great choice, it's all I buy.

Great quality and good price. Just make sure you get exactly the box you need; they come in lots of sizes/combinations.

It's a great deal but the one I got is bent all up don't know how I will fix it
