I'm still working my way through this book but it's awesome. It's very well written and I feel like it has already improved my writing. Even if you are writing a novel rather than a screenplay, this book will help you tremendously. It is not pretentious - it's an easy read but it's very effective. I'm so glad I found it.I highly recommend this book to anyone who writes, especially if they are just starting out.

I found it extremely helpful and didn’t expect it to be this good, it might be big and has lot of words and graphs but honestly I feel like paid for more than I actually did like this is a total win win

This book is very helpful for anyone looking to get started on writing screenplays. It is very easy to digest and the exercises are well done.

You have to focus. The practice makes it stick.

Too pro forma for me.

I was fortunate enough to take Will Hicks classes in person and let me tell you, this book feels like he’s talking directly to you. You will feel so much inspiration after just reading one page! Also, Will was an amazing human being so humble and caring, yet so intelligent and intellectual.

I had the good fortune of taking Will's class and I will be forever grateful for his classes. If you have ever dreamt of writing scripts like Hollywood films, Will has a wikipedia of handouts that he will distribute in the class and it enlightens you with how the magic occurs. This book is like breaking a magician's code for someone who wants to be a magician to put it in another way. Go and spend that $25 for the book and you will thank me for saving extra thousands of dollars you would otherwise spend on a filmschool.

With all honesty it's a waste of time and money. You're better off getting John Truby or Robert McKee books on writing. This one is a bit uniformed feel to it.

Loved the activities involved and really helped me re-evaluate a lot of my ideas. Super awesome stuff
