Sparco Locking Cover Money Tray

Okay, it is cheap. Okay, it works fine. I screwed it into my desk drawer - it is not going anywhere, especially seeing as the desk drawer is not removable. The lock is kind of cheap - but locks are only to keep honest people out. If a parasite (oops, I mean "alleged parasite" wants the contents - they will get it (along with a free ride i.e. free lawyer, free room, free board, free medical - hey are all convicts/parasites Democrats!?!?!?) Oops (again) my apologies to all you who disagree with my rambling - well not really - you could have stopped reading...

This is perfect for what I needed it to do. I do not have a cash register but needed a cash box for my flea market activities. Since the top locks, I can walk away from it a bit and not worry.It is light weight and portable. I haven't had any problem with my money moving around to much. Pretty much I have a tote that the "special" items stay in and it has been kept upright.It came with two keys, and that is perfect for me... as I am constantly forgetting where I put one of them. Now this is not a master lock top, so if your wanting a lot of security... I am not sure I would go with this top. If your going to be around the cash box... then this to me is wonderful. I can lock it or just put the top on it for easier access. To be honest the quality is a bit better than I expected!I compared and compared reviews on Amazon, and settled on this. I have had other cash boxes with the bottom but not the tie down on the money. Since I am out in the weather the money holders are a nice feature and I don't have to worry about chasing the bills should a wind come up.I am happy with my purchase. It is not all things to all people... but I like it for what I wanted and needed.

This was a game changer for our concession area. It has made it so much easier to make change and keep money straight. I highly recommend!!

I love this thing. I've been using it for many months now to keep money I want to save up in. It's very sturdy, keeps my child from accessing my change and potentially choking, or her from being able to ruin any dollar bills. Long story short- She was able to dent it. But it's a small dent. It still is quite sturdy. It's built strong, and is very good quality. I'd definitely recommend it!

As other reviewers noted, the top is a bit flimsy but I didn't buy this to actually use the locking cover. The key assembly is not a secure type and can be easily picked. I did it in about 30 seconds with a "bobbie" pin. Overall for the money this is a great insert for a drawer. The bill weights and springs are a bit lightweight but they do the job. If the bill slots fill to about 75% the arms want to spring up easily. I guess it's a good problem to have if you are taking that many bills :-)I like the 5 bill set up which gives me a place for large bills and credit card receipts.Note the measurements - this is a fairly large drawer insert!

Using this for our "chore system" and it works great. If you need it for any type of offical business I would think the keys would be a little too flimsy for that. The keys remind me of a childrens toy and I'm fully expecting them to break in the future.

I purchased this money tray w/ locking cover for our softball organization. We have a snack shack and we needed a money tray that could easily get money out and that we could transport. This fits the bill perfectly. Not only do we use this at our snack shack, we transport this to our sign up locations. It has 4 slots for bills and an extra one for checks. The lid on the money tray is a nice tight fit for when we transport the money tray from location to location. The coins do not spill into other compartments. I would recommend this product!

The box and top are very sturdy and the hinging system seems to defeat any effort to pry open (not that I tied)The key could easily be broken off in the lock and the lock can be broken open fairly easily.Overall it's good value.

We purchased this to keep our toddler out of our household cash. It does the job easily.Everything aligns appropriately and seems to be well manufactured. There are no cracks or visable irregularities. It has been dropped multiple times (probably in the thousands by now!!) and there has been no breakages or weaknesses as a result.
