IT HAD ME AT “JERICHO FORGE” … he’s like yummy “candy crack” for the Kindle **4.5 stars**
“RELEASE THE KRAKEN” takes on a whole new meaning, and Meghan March is finally back! Just drop the mic on this one … Guess this means it’s time for me to eat crow after being down on her last 3 trilogies. This book, however, was pure pleasure – like having popcorn in one hand and cotton candy in the other … just relax, gorge, and enjoy. I’ve been desperately waiting for author’s mojo to return and seriously needed something special to jump-start my love for her the way I felt about the Beneath series. And, believe me, this one is it. Exotic locales, a life-threatening situation, a strong-willed damsel in distress, GREAT banter, fast-pacing, humor and tension, a solid cast of side characters, PLUS a pair of MCs that finally made me sit up and take notice. It almost feels like a serio-comic caper plus much more, and I’m downright giddy over it.This trilogy gets off to a crackling start with a high stakes poker game in the Mediterranean. But things don’t go as planned. Jericho Forge is a very unique billionaire with an upscale, modern pirate edge to him. Urbane and rough at the same time – he’s the epitome of a well-defined alpha, but bursting with mystery and motives. It’s pointless to explain his many assets here, so just dive in. India aka Indy is a world-class poker player with street smarts and an even smarter mouth, but badly in need of a big windfall for secret reasons. Every step she takes, her dire situation worsens. Indy NEEDS something from Jericho, and Jericho WANTS something from her. Together, they’re outrageous and combustible. And we’ve barely scratched the surface of what makes Jericho tick and what his game is. The icing on the cake is a couple of possible villains on both sides, and Indy’s younger sister with no filter and the best lines. My eyes couldn’t read this book fast enough. None of that mired-down bog of boredom that happens when characters are stuck in a monologue loop in their heads in this story. Nope. Every thought, every conversation, every action, every scene moves the story along toward a nail-biting unknown. The shifting dynamics of the characters and crazy situation constantly took me off-guard, and the scenes with Jericho and Indy just kept winding the tension and sexual chemistry tighter. You’ll lose your mind over Jericho and live vicariously through Indy. No second-guessing. No predictability. There’s a ton of “button pushing” on both sides and it’s going to be a bumpy ride in this series with never a dull moment. Can’t read LUCK OF THE DEVIL (book 2) fast enough. If you’ve been on the fence lately about Meghan March, jump off quick and read this book ASAP.

WOW! Love this book
Wow! I’ve loved many of Meghan March’s books and this is no exception. It grabbed my attention right from the beginning and had me riveted at the edge of my seat.Jericho is a powerful man who wants vengeance from Bastien.India is a desperate woman who needs $10 million to save her sister and used Bastien to get her into a high stakes poker game so she can win that $. Unfortunately, Jericho showed up uninvited last minute and details her plans. There is instant hot chemistry between Jericho and India and it only builds as the book progresses. You can see how she affects him like no other woman had in the past. He’s a super strong abrupt billionaire who gets everything he wants. She’s a jaded beautiful woman who’s been on her own and very capable. I really like their banter and interactions while they slowly fall for each other. The plot is very interesting and has me guessing as to what Jericho is doing and what his plans for India is. Although this book is intense, there is no angst or drama. I can’t wait to read the next book in this trilogy and already can see me wanting to reread this. I recommend!

My New Meghan March Favorite
FIVE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️HOT! 🔥🔥🔥🔥“You think a man like me wants anything that comes easy? I like the hunt. The chase. The challenge. That’s what drives a man like me.”WOW! Meghan March has done it again. The New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author has released the first book in a new trilogy that absolutely left me with my jaw on the ground and unable to function after I finished reading Deal with the Devil. This is my favorite March book since Ruthless King released. In a word, this billionaire romance was exceptional. In order to avoid spoilers, this review will be short. You’re welcome! 😉“…my knees shake as I rise from my seat. I bet myself and I lost. I’ve done a million reckless things in my life. BASE jumping in Italy. Skydiving in Dubai. Sneaking into a royal wedding, just to prove that I could. But never something so reckless as this.”Deal with the Devil is EVERYTHING I love about a book by Meghan March. Suspenseful, spectacularly sexy, with amazing characters and set in Ibiza and the exquisite waters of the Mediterranean, this dual perspective romance was absolutely spellbinding—I simply count not put it down if I tried. Meghan painstakingly penned a story that draws you in from the very first line and continues to hold you captive until the last. I felt like the pace was absolutely perfect. The suspense of this one kept me on my toes right up until the queen of cliffhangers struck again. Only this time, I really did lob my kindle at the conclusion--even knowing it was coming because Meghan is known for her cliffhangers. Honestly?! I question my sanity waiting for the release of Luck of the Devil, no joke! It. Can. Not. Get. Here. Soon. Enough!!! Forge and Indie’s chemistry damn near ignited my kindle—its powerful and nearly tangible right from the very beginning. Jericho Forge is demanding and delicious, a dirty talking a$$hole that I absolutely loved! India Baptiste (Indie) is independent, feisty and ballsy—my favorite brand of romance heroine. They battle for dominance over one another, all while being irrevocably drawn to the other the way a moth is to a flame. Meghan did a phenomenal job on their characters and weaving a story that I never found to be predictable. Do not wait to read this book!!…”I’d rather be on the deck of one of my ships, at the mercy of the open ocean, instead of surrounded by flashing lights and grating chimes indicating someone just won or lost a fortune.”“One corner of his mouth curls up, and it’s like the hand-painted ceilings of the casino cracked open and light shined down from the heavens. A half smile from Jericho Forge does more than unleash heat. My nipp1es peak against the bodice of my dress, and without a bra, there’s nothing I can do to hide my body’s traitorous reaction to him.”Read on behalf of Spellbound Stories

Definitely an introduction...
I have read several of Meghan March's books but found this frustratingly short and shallow. Unsure if my opinion will change after reading the next two books. This definitely reads like an introduction to the series rather than a complete book. To short for any real depth and I didn't connect with the characters at all. However I have loved her other books so am willing to continue on and have pre-ordered the next book which isn't exactly cheap. Male lead is a bit out there in characterisation, revenge focused but bawled over by the female lead due to her skill, tenacity and of course stunning looks. Not sure I buy their chemistry yet seems to move too fast to me. Ends on a cliff hand that promises more information so thank goodness because so far I'm still waiting for it to get good which isn't ideal considering that I finished the first book of three.

Two words. Jericho Forge
Jericho Forge, how on earth can India walls not fall down with this dark character. Mean, bossy, broody, and totally autonomous or is he? Is his Achilles heel Indy? Is he an armadillo, hard as nails on the outside, but soft on the inside? The story is swift, descriptive, deliciously sensitive and very compulsive to read. I do not intend to give any of the excellent plot away, but it is a fabulous storyline. A billionaire who has everything and more, but is very secretive and independent. A heroine who has an unruly younger sister, that gets kidnapped due to stupidity and she India is faced with trying to raise the ransom of $10 million dollars in a limited time. Her preferred way is gambling. She starts on a path she looses or wins!!! There is intrigue, drama, mystery and suspense and such wonderful descriptions of scenery, people and relationships. All characters are believable, some lovable, some annoying and some just downright gorgeous. Well worth five stars as ever and more. Can’t wait till the next instalment. As ever in a trilogy one heck of a cliffhanger, with more questions than answers.

Brilliant. Witty. Addictive.
I'm not surprised in the slightest that I was 'consumed' by yet another phenomenal book by Meghan March. Her writing style, the way she weaves a story with details and describes steamy scenes is out-of-this-world.Jericho Forge is unlike any of her other alpha-male, possessive, all-consuming and, let's face it, gorgeously dangerous characters. He's a force to be reckoned with; an unstoppable hurricane who gets everything he wants - but will he really get the one thing - or should I say person - he actually needs and craves above all else?India - if that's is even her real name - is my spirit animal. She's witty, feisty, rebellious, possessive (as much as Jericho!), loyal and, to top it all off, a temptress. There are a lot of similarities to be found with Meghan's other heroines, but India is one-of-a-kind. Trust me. She will fight, deceive, negotiate, bargain and surrender in order to protect the people she loves. Will Jericho end up being one of those people though?Book 1 in the trilogy, as suspected, left us holding our breaths to see how the story unfolds. I expected it - somewhat- but I definitely wasn't prepared for it. As Meghan said, the trilogy will be unlike anything she's written so far and she certainly didn't disappoint. Not that she ever does.

O.M.G. W.T.F. I LOVE THE DEVIL
Ten stars if I could give them. Best book I've read a book you won't forget you've read. I adore Forge and of course totally envious of India. What a great pair they make. The sizzling heat in this book will burn your fingers as you turn the pages. I hate cliffhangers especially when I can't read the following book in the trilogy. If you haven't jumped on the I love Meghan March bus yet you definitely will when you read this book. Great story with so many possibilities for book 2 I really truly cannot wait. Thank you Meghan truly great book!!😍

Strong and hot
Fighting to save her sister gets Indy in trouble..just not the type she was expecting. Lots of heat and mystery...but can she trust the one that helped her. One heck of a cliffhanger at the end of this one, but as part of a trilogy not surprising. You will pick this one up and will not put it down...and you'll want part two asap!!
