Suncatcher - Rainbow Prism Axicon Window Sun Catcher - These Suncatchers are Great for Feng Shui

The colors this sun catcher makes are beautiful!!!! It's a fantastic product. I was also surprised with the quality. It is well designed and does NOT feel cheap. It is made of plastic but looks and feels like it is made of some kind of metal and glass. It is aesthetically pleasing visually. And as far as creating beautiful rays of color this sun catcher does just that! When hit with DIRECT sunlight it will create very sharp, clear streaks of rainbow rays. They look like beautiful lasers on your wall. But once again it has to be DIRECT sunlight so play around with the spot you feel the sunlight will produce the best results. OVERALL this product was well worth the buy, and I highly recommend it for anyone considering it as a gift for a loved one. I love it so much I actually will be buying two more for myself and one for my younger cousin once I find out if his house gets direct sunlight from the window. I encourage anyone who has been put off by the REVIEWS of this product to ignore the low reviews. I read the reviews before my purchase and hesitated thinking this product was a cheap toy and a scam. IT IS NOT. It is exactly as advertised and just a little bit more surprising as far as quality. Do not hesitate to buy this sun catcher if it's just what you are looking for. You will not be disappointed!

Many people have asked, but nobody has mentioned the size of this ornament. It's about 4 inches across. The frame is a chrome-looking plastic. It comes with a suction cup so you can hang the suncatcher in a window. I have only had mine for a couple of sunless days, so I can't comment on the rainbow feature yet. But even if it never makes rainbows, it's still very attractive to look at as it hangs. It seems fairly sturdy. The frame doesn't feel too flimsy, but I hope I don't drop it anyway, as it is only plastic. I have posted a photo with the Suncatcher placed next to a ruler and some American coins, so that you can get an idea of the size. Update: I've had several sunny days now. I have upped my rating to five stars. This suncatcher produces brilliant, soft-edged rainbows in a beautiful array very much like those shown in the photos. The rainbow patterns on the walls and floor are unique and beautiful. They make me feel happy. My only complaint would be the price. I think this should be priced $5 or $7 less than what it's going for here on Amazon (that's including shipping). If they cost less, I would have one in every window in the house!

updated 09/26/2018 I really loved this suncatcher but i wrecked it even tho I knew better. After owning this for 5 years it fell off my kitchen window probably due to the suction cup drying and failing. When i began to re-hang it on the window I noticed dust/ash had settled on the outside silver color rim so i ran it under the faucet. I knew I shouldn't but was in a hurry. well water got trapped inside the 2 clear panes and would not dry out. several days later it still is looking wet so now I'm reordering another and learned my lesson! Bummer beware and take heed. I have to admit, this "Rainbow Maker" doesn't look that impressive when you see the item. But wait......hang it in any window that receives full sunshine and you will be pleasantly surprised how wonderful it really is! The rays of color are unbelievable and simply beautiful. I got one for each of my grand-kid's homes and they enjoy seeing the "fairies" and know they are coming from Meem with love. Just remember, it takes sunshine to make it wonderful!

I admit. I judged this book by its cover and thought it wasn't going to amount to much. I was wrong. In normal light, this isn't all that pretty. On examination you can see laser-etched plastic film in between two clear plastic pieces, encased by a silver frame (which may also be plastic, now that I think about it.) Okay, not all that pretty. But when you hang it in a window that gets DIRECT sunlight? Oh wow! You have never seen or owned another suncatcher that can produce the quality and volume of rainbows this product does! Long, full rainbow colors radiating the full 360-degrees around. I had this in my office window and at a certain point in the morning sun, the rainbow streaks would cover the length of my office, across the hallway, into the next office, all the way up its far wall. Awesome!! ***WARNING*** Do not try to clean this by immersing it in water or spraying window cleaner on it. There is not a water-tight seal around the frame and when I sprayed window cleaner on it, some of the liquid seeped in between the clear plastic pieces onto the laser-etched film. Although this doesn't interfere with the rainbow prism function, it is unsightly (to me) because it always looks like there is water in between the plastic pieces. It never "dried" and returned to previous appearance. This is why I give this product 4 stars. All this being said, I am here to purchase this as a Christmas present. Obviously, I would highly recommend this holographic window prism suncatcher.

The sun catcher is a 👎. It was very disappointing. It show some reflection only on the outer edge. Would NOT recommend.

I was a little leary about ordering these (bought 2) in case it was a true good to be true item and sometimes you never know what you're going to get from overseas but they're awesome! They are quite big, about the size of a regular magnifying glass and the rim is plastic, not metal and it does move around in it (just like the other reviewers said) but since it's sitting in the window it's not a big deal to me. It probably helps to keep it light weight for hanging. The suction cup looks small but it held the suncatcher just fine for the amount of time I was testing it out (10 mins, I'm giving it as a gift to my Grandma's so I won't be keeping them) and it's a good pliable kind of plastic not the overly hard cheap kind you sometimes get. It really did refract the light just how the pictures show! I will be buying more of these as gifts for sure, thanks for making such a cool product! They also arrived a day before the estimated date and were well packaged wrapped in bubble wrap and marked fragile. The product packaging didn't have any weird english translations on it either. The envelope they came in was from Israel but the product says Reseda, CA?? In any case I'm happy with them. If you have a close wall, the colors seem to be more vibrant than when the suncatcher is projecting onto a wall farther away, which makes sense.

La verdad me parece muy caro,son dos redondos de vidrio y en el medio un plastico iridicente con los bordes de plastico lo toqué con las manos un poco mojadas y rapidamente ,no se como se metio la humedad dentro, tuve que desmontarlo todo para poder sacar la mancha y me di cuenta de la calidad. No lo recomiendo.

Première bonne surprise: le colis est arrivé bien avant la date prévue (22 mars au lieu du 4/13 avril !), bien emballé et bien protégé, deuxième bonne surprise: ça fonctionne très bien, pourvu qu'il soit accroché directement face au soleil, rayons arc-en-ciel dans toute la pièce garantis ! Je pensais que les attrape-soleil étaient bombés/ en volume 3D, en fait ils sont plats et on peut donc dérouler des rideaux dessus sans problème, troisième bonne surprise ! Les matériaux sont de qualité, lentille en verre, cerclage en métal, et vous pouvez faire confiance aux ventouses, elles tiennent sans problème ! Enchantée par ce produit (les suncatchers n'existent pas en France, ou très peu connus), de la magie pour toute la famille !

紹介されている商品画像では、大きさや材質(透明なのかアルミみたいなものなのか）など、想像つきにくかったです。吸盤は心もとないので使用しません。商品の大きさ比較になるでしょうか、40mmのサンキャッチャーと並べた写真です。対面の壁が少し遠いせいか虹が思ったより鮮明にならないのと、この季節すぐに太陽が上がってしまうので、どうしても虹が床近くに下がってしまいます。ウォルナットの焦げ茶の床材に映る虹は見にくいのですが、角度によっては鮮やかに映ります。ちなみに小さく点に映っているのがサンキャッチャーの虹です。放射状の虹とサンキャッチャーの不規則な虹の粒が合わさって、日の当たる数時間が賑やかになりました。大人でもウキウキするので小さいお子さんなら絶対喜ぶと思いますよ。
