WIN TAPE Workbench Ruler Adhesive Backed Tape Measure - 24 Inch 61cm Tape Measure (Left to Right - Inch)

This is an amazing product. First I want to say that this tape measure is packaged in a little hard plastic container to keep it safe during travel! This is fantastic given amazons proclivity for putting any and everything in bubble mailers. This adhesive is great, and the tape measure is easy to read. I own a small business and have to ship packages of varying size, and since I recycle my boxes, I'm always having to hunt down a ruler, now I have one at my desk at all times. The great thing? It takes up no space and won't get lost. These come left to right or right to left (what I got) and that is a god send. 10/10 would reccomend!

I got this to put on my mitre saw. I checked beforehand to see how it compared to a tape measure. Well to my surprise it was off by an 1/8" at the 10" mark. Further readings yielded the further I went, the more it would come up short with the tape. Luckily I only needed the first 10 inches so I made compensation for the error. Hopefully you will get a more accurate one.

First off, the tape came in a nice little round plastic case with a lid, that protected the tape in transit. It's not a flimsy piece of packaging; my first thought when I saw it was "oh! I can reuse that little case for something like screws or washers or something!" Nice packaging that I won't be throwing away.The tape itself is very nice. It feels sturdy, the markings are clear, and it was easy to apply. I was pleased to find that the tape is flexible, as I was applying it to the curved edge of my work table. I started using it right away! It's great to have a handy hands-free measuring tool right where I needed it. Aces!

I bought this to put on my craft table to make it quicker to measure lengths of wire, string, etc. It is ideal for my purposes. Easy to install. The only thing I could see that would make this better would be to have the leading edge kiss-cut to make it easier to remove the backing.

I stuck this on the top of my sewing table along the edge where I sit. After a couple of months the clear coating began to peel off and by the time I removed it many markings had rubbed off. The glue came up with Goo Gone and a bit of elbow grease.On the positive side the adhesive worked pretty well and the tape is thin. If used in an area where it’s not subject to abrasion (even from fabrics) it should be fine.I replaced this with a tape make of steel (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0025Q0KAC). It’s thicker but hopefully will last longer; I’ll review that tape in about 4 months to see how it held up compared to this one.
