TAMO LED Flashing Case for iPhone 6/6s - White - Carrying Case - Retail Packaging - White

The case doesn't light up exactly, and the first one I bought broke within a week. BUT - MOTA gets 4 stars for their stellar customer service. They had a new one out to me within 48 hours and I didn't have to return the broken one. The part that broke was a thin hard plastic strip that ran through the middle of the channels in the soft outside case. I question the engineering of the case - it feels nice, my precious iPhone 6 feels protected, but the plastic strip (even in the new case) feels like it's going to break again. However, I can live with the case as is. It feels good in the hand and comes off easily for cleaning. Plus, it's beveled on the front and in the back where the camera sticks out, so my phone is very protected. I'd have given 5 stars if the plastic strip stayed on and the case flashed up like advertised-but I am definitely a MOTA customer for life.

This is an interesting concept and a good option for those looking to try something different. I hadn't used the LED alert function on any of my iPhones before because I didn't see the need or the value. With this case, the whole thing really does light up. It lights up much better if you place your phone on a flat surface face up (so the LED is down). But it doesn't light up like the majority of the images on this page. It's the LED that lights brightly and is carried by the plastic edges to cause the rest of the case to illuminate fibre-optic style. Unfortunately the iPhone 6 already starts out a little wide for my hand and this case makes it noticeably wider and less comfortable. This is offset by the excellent grip this case provides. It fits well, doesn't affect the photos or appear to affect the flash during a photo in any way except to cause the whole case to illuminate during a photo with flash (perhaps reminding you the flash has gone off for that landscape shot for which it may have been useless). One serious drawback is that the case is thick enough on the bottom that it's difficult to plug in my headphones or lightning cable. The Apple headphones are no problem as is the Apple supplied lightning cable, but 3rd party cables may present some difficulty. In fact, my MOTA lightning cable does not fit with this MOTA case. Overall I'd say it's an interesting concept leveraging the LED alerts and making them into something actually useful.

I received this item for review from MOTA, Here are my breakdown for the item.Pros:- Nice grip and won't slide off the surface. Easily to pull out off the pocket.- it comes with a clear case which mean you will still appreciate your color of your iPhone.- made of rubber (case) but not like other cheap rubber case. it has also a hard plastic around the side of the case which more support I think- light and not bulky- easy to install- all buttons are easy to access and still "FEEL" the clicking of the buttons- easy access to all ports (earpiece jack and charger)Cons:- I've noticed when it flashed, the upper part of the case is much brighter than the bottom case. compare from the picture that lit up the LED evenly- also I've noticed that it only flashes the LED (case LED) when I lay it down front screen up not front screen down. unless this is the purpose of it to see who is calling.. :-)I only have this item for a week and haven't tested thoroughly like how's the protection is, but overall it's a good product and I will definitely recommend this product.

I got it from MOTA. The packaging itself is pretty straight forward and simple, which is good.Interesting concept as it enhances the LED flash light feature within the iPhone (simple setting in iOS). In fact, I like the feature and have it turned on on my phone, even before I got this case. I did however felt that the illumination was limited to the top part of my phone; unlike some of the pictures shown. It doesn't go throughout the side of the frame. It is really helpful when you forget your phone in the living room and trying to find it with lights off.The case itself seems solid. I haven't used it for long, so can't really comment on the durability yet. But, it definitely feels nice.Another issue I have is with the color. I got the white one, and it is not a good white. If I would have known, I would have probably chosen a different color.It does provide good protection with the bonus of enhanced LED affect.

These cases are so awesome I ended up ordering a total of 3 because the other members of my family loved them as well.

This case does not light up. Your phone does and can without it! You have to allow LED notifications in your general phone settings and the bulky unnecessary clear plastic surrounding your phone carries the LED light to the front. Compared to other cases out there it adds so much weight and bulk to your phone. Also because of how thick vinyl is makes it very difficult to access volume and other functions on side of phone. Disappointed.

Solid case

The Mota iPhone 6 LED Flashing Case works pretty well. For thin cases it seems very protective. The main feature of this case is that it's supposed to spread the flash notification beyond just the camera's flash which it does really well. The plastic bumper lights up whenever you get a call.The downside of the case is its design. The holes don't work very well as others have pointed out, making it almost impossible to plug your phone in which is a deal breaker for most people. The volume switch is also hard to access with the case on.If you need the accessibility feature of the flashing alerts this is a good case, otherwise I'd look somewhere else.
