The Sand Dune Oxford is hand crafted from handwoven natural cottons. There is, amazingly, no dye used in the production of this crafted textile. The brown color of the thread is a result of the natural color of the cotton when picked. The cream color of the thread is also a result of the natural color of the cotton when picked. Then the two 100% naturally colored cottons were handwoven into an intricate geometric weave. The textile is peaceful, neutral and a testament to natural eco-fibers and craft. The oxford silhouette is inspired by a vintage almond toed shoe shape, with contemporary lines and commentaries, such as the thin cotton cord lacing (made in Maine USA) and pattern details. The fit of this crafted oxford is strong and supple, with an arch support, cushioned footbed, and leather lined interior. Each pair of shoes is uniquely handmade.
