Excellent book to get you started
The book is fairly straight forward and summarizes what you need to know about the test. The topics in the book are very organized and it is very easy to follow along. It has a couple of mock exams at the end of the book to further help you out. The book is not long at all, I read this book twice before taking the test. This book alone will help you learn most of the principles and requirements of LEED, but you may need supplementary study guides in order to prepare. I suggest looking for free online mock exams and maybe some small books being sold from the official GBCI or USBGC website bookstore. Overall though, the book was effective and really helped. But don't use this as your only study guide.By the way I passed the test on my first try :)

Excellent Concise Information Base
Aptly stated by the title, this book really does provide you with all the information you need to pass the LEED GA exam. Concisely written and well organized, LEED Prep GA goes through each of the sections covered on the test and provides you with a thorough summary of the information you will reference when taking the test.200 pages seems very short when compared to the 500+ pages worth of primary materials referenced as study material on the GBCI website, but, in reality, the actual LEED GA test does not exactly cover a very wide range of information. As someone with zero previous experience in sustainable design, I read this book, took a few practice tests over the course of a two week period, and passed the test with a 192. I highly recommend this as a comprehensive initial study resource.

The Title Speaks For Itself
I took (and passed) the LEED Green Associate exam this week and I have to say that the title of this study guide says it all. Based on my experience, this volume truly provides you with what you need to know to pass the LEED Green Associate exam. I had less than a month to devote to serious study for the GA exam and I found the information provided in this study guide to be laid out in a very logical, clear and concise manner. I personally found the review questions at the back of the guide to be extremely valuable in helping me focus the limited amount of study time I had available. Sparing use of the online links referenced in the guide was also helpful but beware; the information offered at some of these links can be overwhelming (not to mention expensive if you end up getting conned into buying additional study materials or mock tests). I used another popular GA study guide that also claims to prepare you for the GA exam and found myself bogged down memorizing lists and charts that really went way beyond what is being expected of the exam taker at the GA level (at least from my exam experience). If you have limited time and are only going to purchase one study guide to prepare for the LEED GA exam this is the one I would recommend without hesitation.

Great intro material but lacking some required info, highly recommended
Great intro material but lacking some required info, highly recommended.Good for a intro toward LEED GA exam, but some material that will be tested is missing. Also its a shame only one example test is included. additional study will be required from other sources as a result, but I still recommend this text because it is easy to read, clear and covers the basics very succinctly and well.

Stupid Book
I don't know why anyone would do the LEED GA. Worthless. Book is not helpful if you're trying to pass the test.

It helped me pass the test.
I got my leed GA so I guess this book must have worked. I haven't looked to it since I bought it, so I don't think this book should be looked to as an extended resource, just a study guide.

Great!
Prepared me for my final exam which was literally a practice LEED GA exam. I will definitely be keeping this for future reference for when I take the test for real.

Not enough information
I took this exam twice, and scored 80%, and then 84%. When I went back to review the exam questions in this book, I learned that the material I missed or was unsure of was NOT found in this guide. For example, the question about dense populated spaces is not in the guide. The LEED question asks what is the amount of people in a 1000 sq ft area that will make the space a 'dense populated space,' and the choices were 10, 15, 20, and 25. I chose '25' on the test, which is the correct answer, but I guessed on it. I found the answer by searching it on Yahoo. This information was not included in the guide, and a seemingly simply question could lead to a wrong answer. I plan to purchase the USGBC guide for $100. Spending the $100 is better if I can pass it, than to wait a whole year to take it again. There goes $300 in unnecessary exam fees. This ppi2pass guide even indicates in the introduction that the exam categories are found in particular sections of the book; you don't need to study this whole book for the GA exam. Most of the material is for 'fyi' reasons, and not for test taking reasons. Material in pages 79-96 aren't even touched on in the exam, including other parts of the book. The book might be relatively cheap, but not a good investment. I bought the ppi2pass BD&C book for $25, and I'll probably get rid of that too.
