sAudio Portable Stereo CD Player, CD Boombox with AM/FM Radio and Audio Input Jack

It just arrived and I plugged it in so my 2 month old grandson can listen to Raffi.I chose this particular player because it gives me the ability to skip or repeat a song without having to go through the entire CD.No one else had reviewed this yet so there were obviously no bad reviews and decided to take a chance.After going through one CD, I am pleased with the ease of usage and sound quality.I am only using the CD so cannot comment of the radio.However I live in an older house where there are fewer electrical outlets and that is why this player is not optimal for me. The cord is about 4 feet but not long enough to be able to place it in easy reach of where I am with my grandson.

This boom box is great for listening to my many CD'S, especially when I'm entertaining on the patio or working in the garage!It's perfect to play children's songs when the grandchildren visit and easy for them to operate.The sound is very good for the price.

Perfect for my 11 year olds bedroom. He hooks his phone up to it and can listen to audiobooks and music without needing headphones in.

This will not play CDs. At first I thought there was something wrong with my CDs, but there isn't. I played them in another CD player and they worked. It worked a little when I first got it but only for a short time. IT WILL NOT PLAY ANY CDs AT ALL. It doesn't recognize the CD tracks and displays 0. (Sporadically, it displayed the number of tracks but it stopped doing that after only a few days.)

There is no way to review this Portable CD Boombox since it WOULD NOT 'POWER UP!!!' "Blame it on the Bossa Nova," or blame it on the maker, the seller, or Amazon...I was left with the hassle of calling in for a return label and all that entails...It might of been a return that had the same big defect and it was simply re-packaged and sent out to an unwitting Prime Member like myself. It's a totally UN-acceptable circumstance that it put me through. I intend on speaking to a Amazon Supervisor and getting a 'Promotional Credit' for my time and trouble...The irony is: That I shopped for weeks--doing independent reviews of Boomboxes--showing performance, dependability, sound quality, ergonomics and aesthetics--and looked what good that did me!I'm now back to another maker of a small, reasonably priced am/player that has great sound, doesn't skip on any CD and only cost me $23 Bucks. I still have the same model, previously purchased three years ago, that is still playing CD's--albeit with some stops and starts. It's now in my garage as a radio!All these 'Predator' looking CD Players with their ultra-modern looks, reminds me of the well worn saying: "Don't judge a book by it's cover..."Living & Learning,MacforlifePrime Member
