first and foremost, I work security so that can be 8-12 hour shifts. I bought this body cam back in 2019 because I had a previous job that used Campro and I loved thequality of the camera videothe audio on the videoHow true to the natural color the video capturedHow durable it is, it can fall 20 feet and still be fine and yea I tested it out with throwing it and IT STILL WORKS!!The reason I bought it for myself is I was doing armed patrol security in San Francisco 5 days a week 12 hour shifts so yes I was dealing with emergency dispatches ofDomestic violence callsMedical callsTheft/robberies/burglary callsTrespassing callsAssault and battery callsWe all know how long a DV call can take it can be up to 4 hours.So yes long story short I had to have it on standby throughout a 12 hour shift and holy crap it stayed alive for 16 hour shifts too with recording emergencies.I worked through the heat, the cold, the heavy rain, the fog and it has NO ISSUES!Let’s jump forward to 2025 ok. I still use the same body camera and yes it’s been 6 years and it still works! Durable as hell, color, audio, and quality never changed. It’s still amazing as when I bought it, BUT the battery does run out faster and now instead of leaving it on standby I have to turn it off and then record with emergencies. This body am for the price is a 9.5/10! So yeah I’m going to have to replace it like every other technology out there because over years it will get older like us.I got a new body camera to test out for the battery and got a boblov that says it’s good for 15 hour continuous recording and 4000mah and it’s crap I returned it as fast as I could. It wasn’t durable, the clip for my vest was short, the audio on all the videos were crap like robots were talking, the color was changed a lot so red would look brown, yellow would look white etc.Honestly my top two and only two choices for a body camera is axon and campro.

The area I live in is outside of city limits and has a big problem with dog owners letting their large breed dogs, the kind with notorious reputations, roam off leash and with no supervision. After issues with the owners refusing to acknowledge responsibility when their dog charges me aggressive on my property, or tries to attack my own two small breeds, I decided I needed a personal recording device to capture the evidence. In my state the law & Animal Control do NOTHING unless you have video/picture evidence, or someone/another animal/your dog gets hurt. So after another incident I decided a body cam was the way to go, bc I waste time trying to get my phone out and would prefer to have my hands free incase things turn aggressive.This camera is easy to clip to your belt or collar of your jacket/coat. You can turn it on and leave it recording for the whole walk, until you get home. The night sight on it is clear, the audio quality captures everything, and after a few minutes of fiddling around with it with the manual, you'll know how to operate all of it's functions.This is going to insure my behind is covered legally, and any other incidents are able to be reported with proof.Camera is put together well, come's with a charging base and a clip to attach it to your clothing. Easy to hook up to your computer once a week and download all the videos or pictures, and/or wipe the camera clean.I'm pretty satisfied with this thing, and feel like the price was more than fair.
